Received my physical green card in my hand today! Oddly not my wife's card. Hopefully by tomorrow...

Yeah I filed in November so hopefully it goes well for you. Getting information out of USCIS though is like speaking into a void...

My green card just got approved! No interview.
EB3. Interview was supposed to be in April but cancelled. Not really heard anything. In May it was transferred again and silence since. In USPS informed delivery this morning I saw two letters from USCIS NBC to wife and I so been waiting for the postman. Opened the letters and is the 797 notice saying permanent residence approved! USCIS portal still showing transferred to a new office so no idea what's going on there.
Letter says physical card with be with us within three weeks so let's see how that goes

I'm hoping. Feels like a constant wait.

My PD is August 2019. So was not current till now again. What is the status of your case?
-
No RFEs. Not updated timeline, but after interview was cancelled a few months went by and then case was transferred back to Texas. Sat there for a month and then it got sent to NBC. I know because that's what the note says. My PD is current.
What about yours?

I'm EB and still waiting. Interview cancelled then case moved to NBC. Nothing back yet. I'll update when anything happens.

Ok so my case was transferred back to NBC again so...

Is everyone here marriage based? I'm employment based and had my interview cancelled in April. However since then my case was transferred back to Texas and I have no idea why. No updates at all for me since.
Anyone?

Thanks, I was a bit confused about the EAD/AP
I manged to get hold of my lawyer and she said something very similar. i.e. I'll be sending a copy of the notice to her to try and get the start date rectified.
Hopefully this all gets resolved quick!

Error by them or me? Is this something easily fixed?

I'm on an L1 visa and my wife is on an L2. Our original i94s were to expire 12 of July 2020 as that was our initial 3 years. In January I went to the UK to renew my visa and I returned, my i94 now expires end of November 2021. We filed the i539 internally for my wife 4 months ago. Today we received the I-797C stating approval. However the dates are strange. The valid FROM data is in the future, 17th of December 2020. End date is the same as my expiry in November 2021.
So what exactly happens from Mid July to 17th of December? We are currently in the US.
We are both currently applying for AOS as well. We both have combined EAD/AP cards. The end date on those cards to 16th December 2020. So is this why the 539 is only valid from the 17th? Do we need to do anything to 'activate' this EAD/AP from Mid July? I don't fully understand the implications here 😕

Nothing yet. Mine was scheduled for April, then cancelled due to covid. Latest I got is case moved to Texas for who knows what reason

New update today stating new office has jurisdiction. This was the case before, interview scheduled for April, then cancelled, then case moved, now moved again. I'm assuming maybe the case is moving back to DC so a new interview can be scheduled? The odd thing though is that only my case was updated to state this today, not my wifes. Up until this point both cases have always been updated at the same time. Any ideas?

Welcome to the current roller-coaster!

Got an update this morning. Said case is getting transferred again. Not sure what this means. I'm EB3 so not current anyway, so I'm kind of hoping it was 'approved without interview' and sent back to NBC until my date is current. However the online notice doesn't say much. I would expect it to at least stay in the DC office though?
-
Lucky for you! I have been hearing the same. Mine is still showing as "Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered" - nothing else has changed. Unfortunately I'm EB3 which isn't current so I'm somehow unlikely to skip straight to green card
-
Thanks all. I'll certainly post what happens. For now just waiting for the letter and I'm assuming the interview will be rescheduled.
-
I can only hope! But we'll see what happens. As this was only a day or two ago I'm waiting for the notification letter to see what it says
-
The update seen there was in the email sent. It's not the same as what's on USCIS's web site. Did they send you an email alert? Only there it mentions that
Nov 2019 filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

Wanted to update here as well even though I only updated the DC field office thread. PD August 2019.
I am a November 2019 filer. EB3. Wife and I applied together. Original interviews were set for April and cancelled thanks to Covid. Then EB3 retrogressed. Case got transferred back to Texas, then NBC. Called them last month and they said for me to wait until field offices open for 90 days (October 27th) before I should call again. Anyways on the 20th of this month we received letters saying case approved and we'll have cards in our hands in three weeks. Less than a week later we had our physical green cards.
USCIS's website however still showed 'case transferred' but that finally got updated a couple of days ago. Also my wife's green card arrived 3 days after mine for some reason.
Glad this is over for now!
