What are you confused about? Now you have your EAD you go and get a job, and continue to wait for AoS decision.

hey guys! i received yesterday an email that my card for work was ordered... so i was approved. they say it takes up to 30 days to be received. is that right?!

what is the next step? what should i do? can i go directly to ssn center?

if it makes you feel any better i filed on january 28th and my bio was march 26th last touch was march 28th .......

actually i feel real bad... to much stress for few forms and documents. i hope this will end soon for all of us.

I filed my EAD&AOS forms on January 23... got NOA in January 31...and Bio appt. just received yesterday... for April 23. Should i be worried?! i saw other timelines...no one had bio appt after more than 1 month.

Plz guys...could u tell me something!? is this normal? is it ok? what should i do?!

HI GUYS! i read some posts about EAS and AOS...and i'm a little confused. i sent my package for AOS on Jan 31st... and by now i received a case nr for i-765 (even a touch on March 19), but nothing about biometrics app. is that "a must"?! can my case be approved without biometrics? should i be worried cause i didn't get any news about that yet?! plz let me know cause i want to get some action:)

Sure i'll share with you all... i entered in us for the first time in my life on 22nd Dec 2007... and my port of entry was Detroit. I was very surprised because everything was so easy. Not too many questions, not too many suspicions... the only questions was about me (name, city of birth), my wife (her address, her job) and our relationship (for how long we are married, for how long i intend to stay in the us, if i'll work). my advice... relax! it was a little chat they asked me if i carry any food or alcohol, but they trusted me without any check of luggages (btw i had 2l of wine and some traditional cheese).

Anyway... the fact that i had a K3 visa and immigrant status mad that entry so easy. Be calm, be natural, be honest and everything will be perfect.

Now...about American life... is so very different than the Europe. the first thing i notice here is that the people are smiling all the time, they enjoy every minute of their life, they are relaxed... and they thank for everything. the driving is a pleasure... shopping too... and the beer is like tea so very light...

I'll share with you more thoughts when i'll change my status and start work. If you guys have any news and infos about AOS, ssn request and EAD, gc... and that stuffs plz let me know.

peonyflowers99 posted in another thread that she was missing some docs, so no visa yet. Good news is it looks like she will have her visas in hand just as soon as the missing docs are turned in!

i'm sorry about the missing docs... but i'm glad everything will be just fine soon.
