    Does anyone know if you have to pay a fee to get through the gate to get into the Embassy for the interview for Lagos Nigeria Embassy? I'm being told it's around $280.00. Is that true? It is a Nigerian fee to go through the gate. Help!?!? Thank you so much.

    Do you have to pay a gate fee to enter the embassy before you interview?  I'm being told it is around $280.00.  Is this true?

      No! You do not pay a gate fee.

    We are in the same boat as you. NVC approved us December 5, 2020 and we are still waiting for an interview. Just out of curiosity when you look at your NVC website account what does this say? Your case is currently at NVC or did it move pending Embassy interview??
