Please is this For CR1 or IR1?

    because I filed for CR1.

Your response will be highly appreciated

Usually no and yes. This typical forum is for K1 visas. Not cr-1 or Ir-1 but go back on the main page of visajourney and select forum for cr-1 and ir-1 I believed. However, for spouse visas it should tell you’re approval date it’s normally 12 months -24 months depending your country.

Please does anyone know when I can be scheduled for an interview at the Lagos Embassy? My DQ was August2021.

And what month are they currently scheduling now??

    So tired of waiting

The first half of dq in 2021 mass was already sent to the embassy. I believed the next batch will be like June and July because until the first group batch that was recently sent had met there interview appt. they can be able to see the avail schedule left to request nvc to send more down. That’s my intake.

Congratulations... Time to book your appointment for the medical examination and to go get your documents ready for the interview date. Best of luck!!!

Thanks ok are they suppose to be asking for tax form that means my fiancée had to print a copy of what type of tax transcript to take to the interview. Plus are they suppose to be mailing a P3 package in the mail or email

First, it sometimes takes a day or two for the MRV payment to be acknowledged in the system and you can access the scheduling calendar.

Second, assuming the payment is in the system, the dates get snatched up very quickly.  Typically the embassy/consulate only opens up to two months in advance for intereview slots.  Some update this every week and some every few weeks.  Keep checking.  I would say first thing Monday and also on Fridays.  Any cancellations will also be updated when they refresh their calendar.

Today was a blessing I was able to log- on and find schedule my interview

When the portal opens dates get picked pretty quickly try checking in the morning between 8:30am and 10:30am Nigeria time. In the past when the portal opened throughout 2021 it was usually during that time. K1 interviews are ongoing just that things are very slow.

Oh ok I’m just saying nvc said that they was working on cases last year for the year 2020.

I'd like to recommend that you explore VJ to see what is available to help you in your pursuit of a visa.

    1. If you have completed your personal profile, you'll see a flag in the left-hand column under your name. Select it and see all the information available to you about others from your country that you can follow, embassy information, timelines, and other cool stuff.

    2. Go to the blue ribbon above, select "forums" then scroll down about three-fourths of the page and select the region that most represents where your country is located.  Join the conversation for your embassy and process with others. See what they are talking about.

    3. Use the search box in the upper right-hand side of this page to find topics that you are interested in.

    4. On the blue ribbon select the "Office Reviews & Info. There are reviews of actual experiences by members of the Visa Journey community that provide insight into the many immigration related offices around the world.

    5. Using that same drop-down menu from #4 visit the US Embassy & Consulate Information tab. From this page you can view information on US Embassies around the world. Every embassy info page has a link that will let you update the information in real time if you have something to add or change.

    6. Processing Times tab will allow you to determine many different timelines that will return several different data sets that you can query.

    7. Select the next-door neighbor to the Processing Times tab and you
