You should still consider yourself lucky, I haven´t seen my Fiancee for 6 months, and we are still counting, I live in Spain! so there is no sign that we will be allowed to travel anytime soon for us in the Schengen area...
I am not even approved yet... I am waiting for my approval and it is frustrating seeing in other groups, people getting approved when they had the same NOA1 date as me or around the same time.
And if I am getting approved soon I will not know when I will be able to get an Interview...
So as hard as it is try to be patient you are only one step away to have the Visa and then you can travel and see your Fiancee as soon as you can.
Wish you luck that you will get your Interview soon!
Thank you! Hope you get answers from them soon.

From what I'm seeing from the London Embassy/hearing from the NVC, all petitions that have been timed out due the pandemic are valid as long as you take a letter of intent to marry to the interview.
Not sure if this answers your questionIt is good know, thanks

Our embassy has been open a month, but it doesn't matter if USCIS doesn't process the application and send it to them.
I know. It was already received in our country.

No doubt about the stress on relationship, but for us I would feel so much better if the Embassy would just give some information on what will happen once K1's are being processed. I lost all confidence in the Manila Embassy because of what they did to us during the interview in February. Now my greatest fear is that they will time us out or do some equally stupid stuff like they did before. I will not bother you with a recap of what they did but, I did write about it before, it is clear that they made major mistakes during the interview process and subsequent mistakes in the handling of the Visa. They have you by your throat and could care less if you can't breathe.
Sorry to hear that, it sounded awful.

It sounds like you guys are at the final hurdle, so I would advise hanging in there as you probably won't have a super long time to wait. My fiancé and I are in a similar position and I know how mentally draining the whole thing is. Hold in a little longer and I think in the long run you'll be happier you waited.
Thank you so much. I think that what I needed the most was support from people in the same position. My BF is super patient but I'm not and feel it so unfair. My anxiety took over bad, my emotions have been wreck.

Have you tried applying for a tourist visa in the past? So that you can at least visit him while you wait. In June 2020, Santo Domingo issued the most US tourist visas in the World!!! https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyNIVIssuances/June 2020 - NIV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf 2289 tourist visas
Thank you! I do have the tourist visa, one less problem.

How long would it take him to move to your country?
What you mean? He won't move here because he doesn't know the language and couldn't be able to find a job. Also, the process so he could be resident here is also expensive and long as well

No one is able to visit anyone. Very few K1 are being processed (although a some are). This is not USCIS picking on you, everyone is in the same boat.
The majority of people are still working. I actually have two jobs now because I want MORE money. Where I work, the company has given out TWO $300 bonuses, all overtime is double time, and an additional 40 hours of holiday was granted. I am expecting a huge bonus soon because (wait for it) I SHOWED UP FOR WORK. I'm 50 and my only co-morbidity is weight. I was in HK and Vn in Feb 2020 and in Shenyang and Yiwu in Sept, 2019 so I most likely have had the virus, although I don't care to be tested.
I drive for GrubHub 15 hours a week and the number of shops/businesses with HELP WANTED sign's is ridiculous. If you are not making money, you are not trying.
So your American boyfriend needs to GO TO WORK, save, and once travel opens (Sept seems like a possibility) get a ticket to see you. I plan on being on the first scheduled flight from JFK->SGN once the list it.
Now is the PERFECT time to not only save, but make crazy money. Seriously. Tell your boyfriend to get a 2nd or 3rd job and make some crazy money.
We were already approved by USCI, we are just waiting for the final interview.
He already have 2 jobs! And WE CAN FLIGHT because his US airports are open and mines too, the thing is his jobs won't give him OFF days.

and it very much depends on your country as some embassies are hard and do not approve K1 and the people end up getting married and doing CR1
so, letting this VJ community know your country and embassy is important
the best advice here is from the people going thru the same embassy as you will go thru
Thank you. My country is Dominican Republic.

Hi guys,
How are you doing while you expect for embassies to open and have your interview? It has affect my relationship so much, I came to the point where I broke up with my american boyfriend and he decided convice me of not doing it but honestly this is the worst. Plus, we haven't been able to visit each other because the financial situation right know is not good to pay for the ticket, we rather save that money for our future plans.
Is there any other way we can get married and be together faster than through K-1? We thought about getting married in my country but we would have to start a process all over again and wait at least 1 year to finally be together.
This is driving us crazy.

K1 is currently at NVC. In China with fiancee now. Visa is about to expire. Can I get married in China in order to stay with her in China?

Yes, we are in the same boat. Now we have to wait for K1 visa, or star CR1, which doesn´t look like a better way to start all over
