Looks green to me. That’s an I-751 extension letter. If you make a black and white photo copy of it the difference in color hue should be apparent.
Yeah i think it seems very light green. Ok i will also verify it from uscis office at the time of biometric fingerprint appointment. Thanks

Interesting. You didn’t receive a letter in the mail on green paper, with a light Statue of Liberty background, that said:
”Your conditional permanent resident status is extended for 24 months from the expiration date on your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card (also known as a Green Card). During this extension. you are authorized to work and travel. This notice. presented with your expired Permanent Resident
Card. is evidence of your status and work authorization. (This extension and authorization for employment and travel does not apply to you if your conditional pernmanent resident status has been terminated.)”The one i have, have a statue of liberty on it but its not a green paper. Its a receipt of payment i think

You should join this thread:
Also when I joined the I-751 October 2021 thread I also lurked in the October 2020 thread to see what was going a year later. A year later it seemed about a third of the filers had decisions or interviews. If you lurk in the October 2021 thread you will that about a third of us have decisions. October and November 2022 have been the most active months for our approvals.
Did you get your 24 month extension letter?
Its just mention on I-797 receipt of payment that your CPR statis is extended for 24 months from the expiration date. Idk if this is the letter i will use or uscis will issue a separate extension letter?

Thanks appreciate it.

Hello. I have applied for the removal of conditional permanent status in Oct 2022,i am going in couple of days for my biometric fingerprint appointment in Indiana. My question is how long will it take after my biometric to get my new green card in indiana. Some people say it 6mos to 2 years, is there anyone get has recent experience of renew his green card in this category of removal of conditional status(cr1)? Please share tell me the time frame to get my new card because i wanted to go to my country for a month and its clashing with my green card stuffs and my country pakistan's airport staffs are most annoying staff in this world, they ask you stupid qs if you dont have a proper GC and just a USCIS issue paper to travel. My father is also US citizen so he has experience this situation. Thanks

Your USC father can file for his daughter under 21 as an Immediate Relative. However, derivative beneficiaries are not allowed. Only his daughter would get a visa. His grandchild will not qualify for a visa. His daughter can immigrate and file to petition for her child. She should also file for a Re-Entry Permit. Once she has her biometrics, she can leave the US for up to 2 years without losing her green card status. She will need a Joint Sponsor for her child. She will need to maintain her green card status.
Alternatively, your USC father can file for his unmarried daughter when she turns 21 in the F1 category where her child would qualify for a derivative visa. The current wait is 7 years.actually USC my father's daughter is over 21 and divorced, she also has a son who is 14yo. so my father will sponsor my daughter first and then she will apply for her son? and how much time it will take to approved visa for USC father for his divorced daughter who is over 21?

my dad is US citizen and he wants to sponsor his divorced daughter and her child under 21. my question is how can he apply for both of them and how much it takes time and what is fee for it? thanks

Can you please tell me where on the DS260 you wrote about Poe? Maybe Tell the question number or send the sceeenshot... because I don’t remember putting the POE information... not sure...? 🤔
well bro we dont mention specifically for POE in ds 260 as i know.its been more than a year i have submitted my ds 260 so i also cant tell you the specific qs in ds260 but as i guess and heard from the other people in some fb groups,POE related qs comes when in ds 260 its mentioned there that where you will live after get in US,then we mention our spouse address for spouse visa and also there is another qs where they ask where you want to receive your green card.so we put our postal address where we intend to live in US.spouse visa means we are coming to live with our spouse in his/her states where she/he lives.so thats what i assess. hope you will get point.

Hello,
did you upload any additional proofs etc prior to interview ?
no they asked me nothing to upload until they need something.

hello.i have given my cr1 visa interview recently.i have everything proofs financial papers along with. they checked everything especially their main focus was on our relationship proofs. so they kept my passport my all marriage certificates and wedding pics as well.but they didn't tell me any reason for why they are issuing me white color code 221g paper and on that paper there's nothing they ticked which they want from us.only mentioned your case is in AP and you will be notified if any action is required. they have also kept all my orignal docs with my passport. they asked me few questions about our relationship and the Co was also noting it on a notepad about our relationship then on the same day in the evening they also called my spouse in US and then asked few questions about our relationship with her as well. my question is what they are trying to do and will they return my case back to uscis or what's going on with us? i am so worried and confused because they didn't tell me any reason or missing docs which they can demand. please help me. 😒

I answered that in my first reply. They will consider everything in the financial package. Another way of saying it is that they will consider the totality of circumstances.
ok sir thank you

I said the Pakistani Embassy is not involved. You'll be dealing with the US Embassy's Consular Immigrant Visa Unit. There is no Pakistani Embassy in Pakistan, and no US Embassy in the USA.
i see. that's my typo mistake. actually i wanted to write US embassy in pakistan. thats what i meant. definitely my case is nothing to do with pakistan embassy. lol. sorry for misunderstanding. now kindly tell me is US embassy islamabad will consider asset value to meet the income difference? thanks
-

No, the Pakistani Embassy will not consider it, because they aren't involved. Your case will go to the Consular Immigrant Visa Unit of the US Embassy in Islamabad, where everything in the financial package will be considered. 😉 Note that an employed person does not qualify based on 2019 income from a tax return or ANY tax return. Current income is the key. How does the sponsor's stated current income compare to the 125%? 2019 income has little if anything to do with current income.
sir when my sponsor first submitted i864 and financial docs then NVC's response was after checking the income docs, they said the CO will decide at the time of interview. so as you told me they aren't involved, what doe it mean? i mean they clear said the sponsor can use their asset value if they are not meeting the 125% poverty level income. my interview is on 2nd Dec next week. and i am so worried after you answer. what should i do now? i couldn't get joint sponsor then and use the asset option. 😞
-
hello everyone.
my sponsor had a very less difference in income to 125% poverty level like $2000 so she submitted her assets value (those assets which can easily converted to cash within one year) to fulfill the difference which is three times of the difference and becomes $6000 and her asset value was of $18000. my question is will the pakistani embassy consider it or i still have to arrange joint sponsor? any pakistani have faced this situation, kindly share his experience. thanks

Can you explain what additional documents they requested from you ? As I’ve resubmitted English translation few days back.
divorce paper were the additional docs.

On resubmission. How much time Nvc takes to review it ?
like when did you submit it and when did they review it.
on first submission wait time is 2 months now a days.
what’s wait time on 2nd submission.1st time i submitted on 20 oct 2019 and got review on 21 nov. then 2nd time submitted on 26 nov 2019 and got their review on 27 Jan 2020. and again 3rd time submitted on 29 Jan and still waiting. it was about my civil docs like marriage certificate which they required the translation copy of the real nikahnama and then 3rd time they required some additional doc. thats it

my case is cr1 and at nvc right now.i have submitted doc for the 3rd time few days ago. i want to expedite our case. my sponsor is doing job in medical field and her job is very sensitive, her annual vacations have scheduled in the end of march.its very difficult to reschedule vacations in medical field. we wanted to spend time together because we were expecting our case will be completed till feb but it couldn't unfortunately. my qs is, can this vacations reason expedite our case?

I dont think pakistan embassy accept not liquid assets. What matters is yearly earnings.
No 401k is not considered as liquid asset.
i couldn't understand what you said? pakistani embassy accept assets or not?

Most consulates take into consideration only liquid assets. The joint sponsor would need to be a USC or LPR.
Specific questions are probably better answered in the regional forum: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/91-asia-south/
sir kindly tell me, does 401k include in liquid assets? thanks
