  1. Finally got my NOA 1 today, dated 15Aug07, but receipt date 13April07 for my I-130. They are now progressing so........

Tussie, does you 129F say is it is pending at CSC?

Yep. I have called for a receipt. They said to allow the processing time frame. I did have a touch on it on the 29th of June, but thats it. I will keep you informed when I receive anything from USCIS. I remember when I called USCIS and asked about that, they said that Chicago is just a distribution center. They input your info and then send it to the service center that has your I-130. But you will not loose your line #. Like I have MSC XXXXXXXXXX instead of WAC. But they said I will not loose my spot in line. Thank you by the way for updating information and helping people get informed. I know that you really dont have to do this but it has been helpful for alot of us. I really wish you luck with the process too. Its been about 4 and a half months already. Hopefully this does not take a year!!!!! For anybody

  2. Im a military member too, but I cant think of anything else I can do other than wait or volunteer to deploy. But if you find anything that can speed this stupid process let me know or even if you find out what the hold up is, that would be enough for me to know that they dont have my case sitting in the cracks. I have not received a touch since 29 May 07 and I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad one. I mailed my I-130 on 13 April and still have not received a NOA 1 for my case from CSC. Im seeing Mental Health since this is really frustrating and all the stupid bull ####### I have to deal with at work does not help. It sucks when you dont have anyone to come home to. I have gotten the run around through customer service and the immigration officers. Hopefully CSC pulls their head out their @$$es and get some work done.

  3. Instead of using a calling card, why dont you use skype or yahoo messenger through the internet where calls are free. My husband is in Germany and we both dont pay for our phone calls since its through the internet. We both can see each other and speak and hear each other through the internet. Thank GOD for the internet cause God knows how much our bill would be. I know I would be charged 40cents per minute through Sprint, but its free through Yahoo :) Thank God for yahoo and Skype. Buy a web cam and earpiece and use the internet. You just have to download the Yahoo messenger or Skype and enter your profile. Your significant other would have to do the same thing and then you both invite each other and you will be able to speak to each other. I do every day with my husband. That is what keeps our relationship alive and free

  4. Hello all,

I have a question for all of you. Are you all citizens or legal residents? Did you mark that there was an immigration proceeding with your spouse or family member? I ask cause I wonder if there is a trend here for a reason why our cases could be on hold or set to the side. I filed in mid April and my spouse was actually denied entry to the US cause DHS said that my husband seemed he intended to stay even though he wasnt and had his roundtrip ticket on hand, under the Visa Waiver Program. But any how. My case was received by a Semegi through USPS receipt, so Im sure that pretty much everyone that has filed in CSC knows who this person is. So obviously some people's cases were set to the side. I have only gotten one f ing touch since April on my I-130.

Is the whole purpose of the California Service Center to do background checks or screening on the sponsors (US citizens and Legal Residents)? I think I have read that somewhere. Then the Embassy does the background checks on the spouse or family member. Any one know?

Im in the military, so I know that that does not mean much to USCIS. Not that Im any different from yall but I would figure they wouldnt think twice with me especially since I have been in for a couple of years. There has got to be a trend here some how. Cause I noticed people that filed after me have received approvals already. I should just have my husband fly to Mexico and walk over. That would be alot easier and quicker than this #######.

I am going to send a message to some news station about this #######. USCIS needs to work on their customer service.

  5. Hello,

Just curious, any of yall military or military dependents? If it applies, if I was TDY in germany for like 4 months, would I be able to get my hubby to the US through DCF in Frankfurt using my orders? It seems so much quicker to process a greencard through the embassy than stateside. Im really impressed at the time frames here.

  6. Hiii ...I know sounds crazy but I can stop thinking...

I know probably I have to file for a waiver I-601 after I got my I-129 or I-130 approval after a interview...

But the question is , could this be a problem for me???

Can they denied my I-130 or I-129 before interview because of this???

Have anybody been thru this? Please share with me !!!

I'm preparing already my waiver, it's crazy, lots of pressure, lots of headaches..

But now after I got my head off the I-129 (finally I got the NOA1) I've start to work on my waiver again...and this think can get of my mind...If anybody can help me with some info..I really appreciate!

    Thanks .... :help:

Ps.I'm also add this topic on the Waiver tread

    Hey,

Dont stress over it. I think you should call and speak to an immigration officer through the customer service line. My husband was denied entry because he was on the Visa Waiver Program. He intended to go back to Germany but the immigration officers in Dallas said that he looke like he was intending to stay cause he was bringing his cats and alot of his things. He had his round trip ticket in hand but they did not want to hear it. This was in December when he was coming to visit me but couldnt. Then we got married in March. Any how, I spoke to an immigration officer back in May about it cause I wanted to know if it will affect him getting his green card. The immigration officer told me that in the interview is when they will ask him about that. CSC has nothing to do with that. He said that there was nothing to worry about. I am not sure about a waiver, but I know when I spoke to a lawyer I think she mentioned to write a pardon letter. But we are married now so I dont feel he should have to. When my husband was denied entry, the immigration office told me the only way I can get him in the US is through the K-3. But at the time he was my fiancee. Your best bet is to speak to an immigration officer. Everyone's situation is different. ;)

  7. Hello,

Me and my husband have our arguments too. Really, its more from my end and I really think that it has to do with me being a female, but I can see how your wife can be in emotional rollercoaster especially being pregnant. Is this her first time? I would like to have children but I can not imagine how it will be like if I did get pregnant and my husband is still in the other side of the world. He wants to be with me when I go through it. I hear stories of pregant women and I think its really important for the man to be there emotionally for the woman. She probably is having low self esteem. I know my hubby makes me feel good when he tells me that he loves me everyday and that Im beautiful and he cant wait to show me off to his friends and he always makes me laugh. A funny guy can make a girl do anything. Its hard when two people have pride but eventually one has to give in in order to give the opportunity for the relationship to work. It makes it easier when the both of you "LISTEN" to each other and understand where each other is coming from. When you and her understand each others point of views, then you both will have to come to like an agreement or at least to the same level of understanding and then I think that ends the argument. But you both have to really try and mean it. Since May of 2005, that is what me and my husband have been doing. Long distance sucks but I get excited and take pride to know that not many people can do what we both have done for over two years. And that this has made us stronger and that our love is sincere. I have never cheated on him and never had the thought to be with any of the men around me (beleive me, I have been hit on hard and there are unfaithful men in my area) and the same for my husband in Germany. Do you really think any of your friends can do what you are doing? All my friends, but one said there is no way they would have kept up with long distance. That is not love if you give up. When you love someone, you will fight and give your all. Sometimes I wonder if God approves or does not approve. But the way I see it is that this is my life and I hope that God sees that this is sincere and I feel the best is yet to come (when we are finally living together). I cant wait to see how life will be like then. Buying a house, furniture, living the american dream. Best of all sharing my life, my job and my future with him. (L):star::yes:

  8. ahhhhhhh. today I talked to the "immigration specialist" at the congressman's office and he totally ruined my day. He said the earliest my husband is likely to enter United States is Feb 2008. :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I am not sure how correct he is......but even the thought that it might take so long hurts.

Its 6 months. I would love to be in your boat. The quicker the better. I filed late April. You can make it. Just think all the years to come you will have with your significant other. If only you can wait 6 months

  9. I called USCIS in Friday ..and I was told that the process for both I-130 and the I-129F is still on Dec. 2006, WHY?

Is it really that hard to process a legit case.

Wait a minute ... what are we talking about here, I-130 taking years to finish, I-129F the same, WHY? WHY I SHOULD BE SUBRATED FROM MY WIFE? WHAT KIND OF IMM. SYSTEM IS THIS, you will never hear things like that anywhere else.

I can't believe that in order to bring your wife you have to get blood purser, diabetic, and couple of hard attacks, and at the end you have to prove ridiculously that you love your wife is really you wife, WHY?

I am not asking for my brother or relative to come here, SHE IS MY WIIIIFE, can’t we live together?!

it really frustrating to wait a year or two, and read thousands of pages and file hundreds of papers and forms to just be able to bring your wife WHYYY?

I am sure it’s not employee fault, it’s how the system been designed.

    Hello,

Dont get frustrated. This will only make you both stronger. Not alot of people other than people on this forum would be able to handle long distance. My co workers have admitted that they would not go as far as I have with my husband. Its been 2 years that we have been doing the long distance. Im pretty pissed too but all I can do is wait. Just to let you know, I sent a request for at least my receipt for my I-130 on the 25th of May and I just now received a response in my mail. So it gives me some kind of relief to know that at least they got to it. Maybe two months later but they got to it and responded. It pretty much states that they are still processing December petitions. My petition was filed in April. Are you able to go visit your wife? Im planning to see my dude for a week in Germany. Hopefully, maybe by then I might receive something. For now, all I can do is be here for my pookie. And visit him. I have a feeling that after 30 July things will speed up. If people are paying the updated fees, USCIS will have money to hire more people and serve the purpose of charging alot. Speed up the process. Hopefully

  10. Hey all,

Per the USCIS press room for CSC, everyone should receive approvals and receipts by 20 July07. The site is below. Sorry I have not been around. Just became numb to this process. I have not received any receipt from CSC for the I-130 and the I-129 F. I am dissappointed in them. I feel that the person that has my case maybe has something against germans or military members :crying: I noticed some April filers received a notice or receipt. Any how, Im hoping that I will at least receive approval when I get back from seeing my pookie in Germany. Any how, I wish everyone here a quick process.

  11. I have 2 questions:

    1) Is anyone here still waiting for their NOA1 (specifically from the California SC - printer problems and whatnot)? According to the USCIS site, our NOA1 should have been mailed on the 04/27. We chased it a month later and were told to wait a further month. Today is the day we chase again. I'd just like to know we're not alone in this.

    2) Is it unusual for an I130 with an NOA1 date of 04/27 not to have been touched by now?

I'm getting slightly worried that we have already have our I129F NOA1 and that has already been transferred from Chicago to California and is currently pending. It's going from one extreme to the other, no movement on one and lots of movement on the other.

    Hello,

I sent my I-130 on the 13th of April, which they received on the 16th of April, but in the CSC system, they state that they sent a receipt on the 24th of April, which to this day, I have not yet received anything for that petition. But on the press room from the USCIS sight for 11July07, it states that by the 20th of July, everyone should receive receipts from CSC. Im numb to this long process. I am also pending a receipt for the I-129F from CSC since it was transferred there from Chicago. Hopefully, everyone receives a response soon from CSC.

  12. hey Sumonlupa... congratulations... happy for you that both ur petitions got approved. good luck with the rest of the journey.

Thanks a lot, I would like to thank you all for your support, It felt like a real journey with some nice people full of love for their loved one!!.. I wish best of luck to all of you who still patientfully waiting for the approval... I guess your waiting will be end soon...very soon...

    Sumon

    Hey SumonLopa,

Are you a legal resident or a US citizen? I am just curious to see if it matters wether a member is a legal resident or a US citizen for the time processing for a relative. Thank you. Im getting frustrated with the California Service Center in the way they are handling business. They are not customer oriented at all. I wish I knew the head honcho of this program so I can complain about the service and the run around I have received from their customer service line. Its always the same excuse. I would at least appreciate an honest answer. Any how, congratulations. I could not imagine the long wait you had to go through with your family. I wish yall luck

  13. I got Approval of my both ( for me and a child) I-130's today! yesterday i had a first touch since april, and later today their site said that our cases is approved and notice is sent!! WOOHOO!! IM SO HAPPY!! :D

    P.S. Update me please! NOA 2 - july 04

    Hello,

I was wondering, when you filed your I-130, did you also file the affidavit of support? I forgot to do that but am not sure which form to submit. I just sent the I-130, the Bio data and my pay stub. What other forms or documentation should i have filed? Any advice is deeply appreciated.

  14. Hi everyone!

    Just an update...

Today, I received NOA1 for I-129F. I have updated my signature and timeline here on VJ.

    Hey Tareq,

Just to give you a heads up, they sent my I-129F from Chicago to California for "quicker processing". Just be prepared. If you look in USCIS site under the press room, you will see that the filing instructions will change eventually. If you are closer to the East Coast, Im assuming they will send your I-129F to Vermont, but if you are West Coast, expect it to go to California. Mine is pending in California and I received a notice from Chicago about the transfer. I called USCIS on Friday about my I-130 I-797, and the immigration officer pretty much told me that they never sent anything in the mail cause CSC is doing catch up, which should have been done by the 15th but they are still catching up. She told me to call the first week of July if I dont receive anything. I am so dissapointed in them. I have called probably 4 times before, and the customer service reps pretty much lied to me. They said they sent the receipts and the immigration officer pretty much tells me they did not send me anything. I wonder who I can file a complaint about their system cause it is not right. I would be fine if they said it would take 6 months to get a receipt. Dont lie on the case status online and state that a receipt is mailed. Anyhow, I am happy to hear that you initiated the K-3 process. Its hard not having your partner with you. Let us know how things go. I will keep you and all posted on anything that comes about

  15. Hello,

Im waiting  for my NOA2 also for my I-129F I filed for my husband. It is frustrating, but when I received my letter from Chicago, it said it can take 2 to 6 months to process. So Im expecting to see something by November. Other wise, I will raise hell in California Service Center and the Customer Service Line  Im planning on seeing my husband before then. Chicago sent me a message last week that they transfered my I-129F to California. Does anyone here know the process and why they did that? Thank you.

  16. Hey Everyone,

I received a message from Chicago for the I-129F petition for my husband that the case was fowarded to CSC. To this date I have not received any notice for my I-130. But I hope that when they receive the I-129F, they get on their toes and start working on my case. I am going to call them and send an email to USCIS on the 24th of June since it will be over 60 days since I have not received anything for the I-130. I know  the receipt for the I-129F states that it will take 60 to 180 days from 4June07 to process it.

Does anyone know why Chicago would send the I-129F to California? Is it because my I-130 is in California (to be filed with maybe)? Thank you.

  17. Tareq,

I filed my I-130 around the same time you did. And to this date I did not receive anything for it. But I filed my I-129F with proof (copy of check, case status online, USPS signature receipt and copy of I-130) and received the I-797 from Chicago within a week. I think that they would not send me the I-797 without verifying the I-130 in the CSC system. As long as Chicago is at least doing their job, Im happy, and hopefully they might somehow get Californ I A to speed up the process in order to get my pookie in soon. I know that people are afraid to take risks when it comes to immigration, but nowhere in the I-129F did I read about submitting the I-797 for the I-130 when you submit the I-129F. As long as you submitt proof, you should be good to go. And Chicago is really doing their job

    Also Tareq,

What I mean by check too, is that you should (Im suggesting, but do this at your own will) provide a copy of your cashed check (which you can get through your bank) front and back (the back should have a stamp from USCIS with your case number on it, starts with 3 letters). I have online banking so like I was able to print it. I guessed my case number by registering online in the USCIS site. I could not make the last 2 numbers, but I guessed and saw one for the I-130 which I assumed was mine, and then confirmed it throught an infopass in Sacramento. They had my name and my husbands name in the system. So I printed that online form to and mailed that and sent a statement that it was confirmed through the field office in Sac Town.
