  1. Me and my fiance messed up.We thought I was the only one to sign and date the meeting in person question 18.Now we relize we both should have signed it.Will it be better to go ahead and send in the package and if we get a rfe for it then send it in.Or Should we wait till she can send one with her signture on it from philippines before we send in the package?

I am curious, really. I do not mean to be rude or anything, but I would like to know where you got this erroneous information? Certainly not on this website. I hear so many different BS stories which are told to people in this process and I am always curious to find out exactly how this happens, and you are the second one today to ask this same question. Please help me.

    I wrote in another thread:

I was reading K-1 Fiance Visa: Tips on Forms and Documents

"The following items may make your life easier and help you get a little sleep at night :-) :

Make sure that your "original statement of having met in person" (you and your fiance should write one) is signed by hand in ink by each person and not just typed. You should ask your fiance to write this when you are first starting work on the I-129F since it will likely take them a few days to do this and and even longer for them to mail to you (international mail can be slow if sent at the standard speed). "

  2. Only you need to sign the letter

Only you as in the USC?

Yes, the person submitting the petition. That would be the USC.

Is it really necessary for both petitioner and beneficiary to make this statement? :)

  3. Thank you for your replies. :)

However, I was reading the "Tips" thread foud here:

    The RFE Master List

    And Aussiewench wrote the following:

"If that was me I would put the main job and then perhaps a reference to an attachment and on the attachment put the second part time job.

Its just that there has been RFE's for overlaps and gaps in timeframes, so IMO best to include an attachment as opposed to overlapping on the form.

Perhaps someone else has a better solution."

From what it sounds like to me is she's saying that people have been getting them when there is a gap or overlapping in their residence or employment. Did I misunderstand? I've heard this from other sources so I'm rather worried about it. I'd like to avoid an RFE if I can help it. Has anyone heard anything else about this?

  4. We need some help filling the "Employment" section of my G325A biographic information form. I am the beneficiary and I am registered to work in one job but I also have a additional part-time job and do some consulting work. I understand that jobs CANNOT overlap when you write them down on the form so a "supplemental sheet" must be included to explain the circumstances. Is it really necessary to include all my employment information? Must I include my part time job and consulting or does my primary job suffice? If I must then how do we format the supplemental sheet and what information do we include? For example, do we have to write down all my employment information again or do we just include the information we did not write down in the actual application form? Can anyone share a sample sheet or is there a sample available somewhere that we can access? We are trying to eliminate any mistakes, if possible, so any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance. :star:
