So my NOA1 was 3/11/2020. We waited patiently and FINALLY on 12/31/2020 we got a notice but it was only a notice saying that “Case was transferred and new office has jurisdiction” when I received the actual letter, it stated that the “security screenings” have not been completed. What does that mean and how long can that take? I live in US and she’s in Ghana. This has become so frustrating. We are now 32 days away from ONE year waiting. Can someone provide some light on this situation please?

Never…I repeat…NEVER bring someone with a kid to the US!!! If you want a ready made family, you can get that ####### here!!!
