hey @Studentss did you end up updating your address? If you filed your N400 online, you can see an estimated wait time - was yours affected? I'm kind of in the same boat, wondering if it's going to cause a delay to my application even though the new office in my case, is less backlogged than the current one. Thanks!

Not for n400 but for an adjustment of status I did a walk-in at the ASC Different from my jurisdiction.
 
They were fine with it and asked me to show them the proof as to why I was going to a different ASC prior to my appointment date. I had to show my flight tickets and tell them that I was leaving the state for a month. Only then did they allow me to do the biometrics. 
They turned away a person who did a walk-in after me because he didn’t have a valid reason to be there before his appointment date.
