Hello, I hope someone can help me with this. My husband (petitioner) is self-employed and we have a baby. My mother-in-law agreed to be the joint sponsor. She gets $8000/m from her pension and lives in a different physical address from us (husband, baby and I).
Questions:
1) Does her pension of $8000/m enough to be the joint sponsor? If not, there is another possibility of combining with her husband – I-864A.
2) Can the joint sponsor have a different address?
This is Part 5:
The joint sponsor lives with her husband in a different address from us. Should the household size be 3 (Joint Sponsor + Spouse + Immigrant)? or should I include husband (petitioner) and baby which adds up to 5?
Thank you.
