Hi, My wife and I have been waiting for a response since submitting our I-485 and corresponding documents and just received and email updating us that we have received an RFE. But looking at our timeline Via my.uscis.gov account they cancelled the request? is this normal and how exactly am i to know if the RFE is still in need of submitting? Also have no idea what the RFE is even for?

all right i had my suspicions that it might be a weekend thing but thanks for verifying it lol.

Hi I Was just wondering if anyone else here is having issues accessing https://www.uscis.gov/ case information. i was able to access my case history about a month ago and check current statuses of my AOS ect but now when i go to the website it's saying verify your identity ect but nothing there about my case history? so how am i suppose to check my status?

I know this is an old thread but i had a similar question with mixed answers. I'm just wondering if you are even still on here if you had any issues at your interview if you answered "No". Because i too received a 221(g) White form regarding them not having received my medical exam yet. so on sure as to put yes and provide the 221(g) or say no. Thanks.

were does it state that its not a visa denial? i tried researching this but could not come up with that result. thanks.

ok so after selecting yes. i provided in on page 18 (additional information) Page/Part/Item Number 10 /8 / 15. 1) Section: 221(g) 2: Reason: Medical exam results sent from panel physician. and will also provide a copy of the document. is this enough info for them to not receive an RFE, regarding this section

Hi, On Form I-485, Page 10, Part 8, Question 15. I'm not sure if the document I received at my interview date is a denial. In the document it states refusal. During my interview the company i did my medical exam did not send the results in time for my interview. All though the interview it self went perfect i was given a document because they had not received the medical file yet from them. So basically what I'm asking is do i need to select yes or no for Page 10, Par t 8, Question 15. "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN DENIED A VISA TO THE UNITED STATES" since i received this letter at my appointment.

Hi, i Just wanted to be sure i have this information correct and would appreciate any help regarding the filing location specific to my location (Phenix City, Alabama) I was on the official website for the form I-485 and as it states i should be mailing all my info (i-485/i-864/i-765/i-131) to. U.S. Postal Service (USPS): USCIS Attn: AOS P.O. Box 20500 Phoenix, AZ 85036-0500 Just wanted to make sure this is correct. Thanks!

4: which date because there is no Priority date there is only RECIVED DATE, and NOTICE DATE. Priority Date is Blank. 23a.: And in Toronto, Canada, American CBP officers are present. That is were i handed over my sealed K1 Visa document and was granted entry and had my K1 page of my passport stamped.

Hi, everyone Almost finished filling out the i-485, just needed some clarification (for sanity reasons lol) Question 4: Priority date from underlying petition. From what i have read the date should be what is stated on your NOA1. All though there is a slot for priority date there is nothing listed there. So do i put RECIEVED DATE or NOTICE DATE? Question 3: How many times have you been married: I may just be over thinking this but my Wife and I are now married since entering on a K1 Visa !!! YAY. I'm assuming that i would put 1 there now or is the questions just referring to other marriages not including the most recent one? Question 23.a.: Place of last arrival into the united states. This one is were I'm very confused. as stated in the i-485 guideline (in pictures). I checked my i-94 and it doesn't state anything on there, so i checked my most recent travel history and the most recent states TYPE: ARRIVAL, LOCATION: TOR. so do i list Toronto as my place of last arrival into the united states? Reason I'm confused is because in the guideline it says that it should be a US location. but none of my travel history or i-94 lists a US Location. My travel was from Toronto, Canada to Charlotte, NC, to, Montgomery, AL. Also just a quick edit to this I handed my Seal k-1 Visa packet to CBP at the Toronto airport and was than issues the Visa at Toronto with the stamp in my passport if that helps clarify this question. Hi, Just had some quick questions regarding form I-485 In the pictures i check marked K-1 visa because that was the visa i entered the US on. Now my question is regarding Part 2: Question: 2 "are you applying for adjustment based on the immigration and nationality act" do i answer yes to this? and if i have to select yes. what exactly does it mean "fill out the rest of this application and supplement A to form I-485, adjustment of status under section 245(i)" Im assuming "NO" because i entered the US legally on a k1 visa and the 245(i) from what i understand is for those who did not enter legally.
