This is NOT going to clear up on April 1st, I think we need to brace ourselves for several weeks if not months. Instead of giving a possible end date of April 1st they should have said until further notice.
I know right. It’s like they’re giving everyone false hopes that it’ll end on the 1st. 😪

Kamusta? I have a feeling this is going to go longer than the initial dates they released. So I guess prepare for the worst. Sorry you had to go through this.
I know. I’ve been preparing myself for the worst news. But hoping and praying for the best 🙏

Maybe they will waive some AOS interviews and grant green cards 🙂
I hope that’s the case lol

Hi, I have the naturalization interview scheduled the same day of yours...April 8. I am confused too! I think, (it’s just my guessing!!!) based on USCIS statement that they should keep our appointment, they are going to re-schedule just those whose appointments were scheduled between March 18 - April 1st... Anyway I think it’s too early to make conjectures given the fact that everything is changing day by day... Best of luck to you!
Hey! Thank you! I called USCIS and they told me that it’s just affecting the ones from March 18-April 1. But then we don’t really know if they will extend the suspension so it’s always better to check the website daily. It’s very frustrating knowing that it’s been such a long wait already.

My AOS interview is on April 8. Do you think it’ll be rescheduled too? 😢 I’m confused since it states that “USCIS will send notification to those who are impacted by this closure”. I know our schedule is not within those dates.

Are you interviewing or are you applying for AOS? With a uncompleted timeline we can't tell. Please help us to help you and complete your timeline.
If you are at the interview stage you are here:
Your a K-1 and you do your own scheduling for the interview not USCIS. Use Hanks website for step by step instructions and move over to the PI sub-forum. You are done here in this forum.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.
If you are at the USCIS stage, contact USCIS customer service. Google for phone number.
I am an AOS filer from K1 yes and I’m referring to my AOS interview.

Hello everyone! Last month I received and interview schedule notice from USCIS. But today USCIS sent me a notice saying that my interview was cancelled. But when I checked my case status, it is still “Interview was Scheduled”. What should I do?
USCIS EXTENDED THEIR TEMPORARY CLOSURE AT LEAST UNTIL APRIL 7. 😪
