  1. I didn't mean to do good deeds for heavenly gain only you asked why do good deeds?? And no matter your religion you shouldn't do something to get something in return it just make the world better if everyone tries to do good. Doing bad only helps others to do bad when doing good encourages others to also do good.

  2. Don't know what Harry Potters got to do with it. I own all the book and Movies beleving doesn't mean you have no imagination. If you ever felt good about doing things for others you would know being good is not a waste of time ( everything comes back to bite you on the butt) is what they say and good comes back to you too.

  3. I belive 100% God is God. Its a win win situation if you belive and he's real you go to heaven, If you don't belive it's gonna suck. If it turns out he's not you've tried to live the best life possible and you die.

  4. You should receive a card in the mail in a month or so. The I-551 stamp makes your passport into a temp green-card allowing work and travel.

Give SSA 30 days to send out the card, if you dont get it then visit SSA office and order a new SSN card.

Also is this a CR-1/IR-1 visa question not a K-3 questions? K-3 visa holders do not get I-551 stamp, so this should not have been posted to the K-3 forum.

  9. Hi,

We are going to have soon our interview at Ciudad Juarez Consulate. Does anyone know which hotel is the best to stay to be near the Consulate?

    thank you

kitkat: Thanks for the insite on all visas are processed same and about 120 days. Hotel we stayed in was good gaurd at gate all night. Right infront of consulate and med exam place walking distance. Has alot of Guards probally most safe.Hotel "La Playa" rooms clean has restarant in parking lot with pretty good food.

  10. Should we go ahead and get the Medical Exam done the day before the apt? And should we also pay the $ to banamex and get the receipt before the apt to speed things up the day of the apt? or do they allow people to even do stuff before the actual apt?

You have to get the med. exam before the appt. Advice be there when the doors open alot of people in line 30min early.Banamex don't have to do they'll let you pay at appt/ doct. whatever you go for in cash. Good Luck!! Have to have mex. passport . Just a warning they probally wont let you go in with him and there hateful as #######. Wish someone told me It usally takes 30min to 1hr depending but waiting on him to come back sux.

  11. We have to go to CDJ, we are going to drive, is it hard to take your vehicle into Mexico, also can we take a big box of clothes and stuff like that to give to my husband's mother once we get into Mexico or will Immigration go all thru it and delay the process of entering Mexico? Thanks for your help, oh the vehicle is registered to me, and I will be with him to go into Mexico, but coming back into the US I will not be with my husband, will he have a hard time entering the country with a vehicle that is not listed under his name?

Me and my husband drove to Mexico for his appt. in juarez in oct.2006. After you cross the boarder there's like a secound boarder thing where you have to register your vehicle (it can't be missed big sign register forien vihicles, road block kinda like toll, boarder place). You or the persons name on title or registration has to go in. They wouldn't except my registration cause they evidently never seen one from TN (go figure). After trying to convince them it was recent with no luck they excepted one I luckally had from God knows when. "BUT REALLY HELPFULL IF YOU JUST BRING TITLE" ALSO NEED 2 FORMS OF ID. They offer I may be wrong on this but I think it was 3 month temparary Insurance since yours no matter what you have is no longer valied after crossing boarder. They will give you a sticker to put on your car thats vailed for 6 months. All costed us $200-$250. It may vary depending on where your going to we went to Guanajuato,MX. Also stayed past sticker date and only place to get them is at boarder places. They say if its expired and you get pulled over they could take your vehicle. Thank god on the way back no one said anything just at the check posts they asked where we were from and basically were looking for drugs or guns.

We had the blazer crampacked with ####### cloths ect cause we thought we were going to be there 6 months (ha wish now 7months and waiting). They didn't check anything entering in to mexico didn't even stop us.

When you redister your vehicle you may want to ask them on if he'll have trouble driving it home. Maybe they can give him something paper or something saying its alright for him to drive it. Cause again they say if someone other than you(in your name) is driving an pulled over if your not in the vehicle it can be took away.

If only travaling to Juarez if his mom ect. lives in Juarez you may have to ask how to find the register place case its after leaving Juarez going deeper into Mexico.

Sorry so long Hope this has some

  12. Your wife must fill out I-864, and if you wish your parents income to be included on that as household members, then they need to fill out I-864A. Note household members are different than joint sponsors, they do not need to fill out a separate I-864.

The I-864 needs to be filled out by your wife if you are going to count your alls in come and if not in the instructions they sent me it said if you were going to count yours or not you still had to fill it out.

The I-864a needs to be filled out by sponser that makes enough by the guidelines for 2006 past 3yrs taxes for you and your sponser, Work letter or recent pay stub from work to prove still working. I think thats it but I can't remember all needed. It has check list.
