That’s the generic/standard  update when your i485 is transferred to either NBC or local office. Some people (myself included) got two notifications of the movement, others just get one.. it still moves regardless! So yeah verify through your congressperson!👍

Can I ask Congress person even just 27days old at NBC?

Thank you Stillwinning! Online only showing “My I-485 case is transferred to a new office for jurisdiction”, it does meant that it already at the local office?

NBC check your file to make sure all the correct documents is there if your missing anything for example birth paper they will send you an RFE for it. Once all correct documents are there they will send your file to your local office,  which will wait in queue for and interview or final decision. If you did not submit your medicals yet the io at the local office will send an RFE for it. The only way to know if its at your local office is through your congressman thats what I did i contacted my congressman who was able to tell me its at my local office and which office exactly.

The abuser just emailed me " you are the devil" ," you are doing is for money  and green card" ,can I use this go to get the Protection order for me ? I have also the record that he abused me about 3 years ago  .

That's the way you can get the much needed work permit before your VAWA is approved! If you don't..then you'll only get C31 EAD after your VAWA approval! Did I mention it takes time...💁

Yep ,I know .But my attorney does not want to help me to sublimed i485 now ,he wants to waiting until i got the VAWA approved ....

My lawyer told me that he did not submit I-765 on my I-360. So how can I get a EAD card? My case has been submitted for 7 months. I really need a EAD work to work. Please help ..thanks !
