Right now it's on average 154 days from DQ to interview, so there's no chance you'll get an interview in January or February unless you expedite. We're expecting to interview around April or May, assuming we get DQ and none of our documents are rejected.

My husband and I are in the same situation could someone please add me? I'm canadian, he is american, we live 25 minutes apart and we finally received notice that they have accepted all of our paperwork and will be working on an interview date in Montreal. We did the i130 process, not the fiance visa.. We are wondering what the Montreal interview wait times are currently. ANY help is much appreciated! Thank you!
I am also waiting , my d q was nov 7 th but my priority date was Jan 18/2018

Nice, how was your interview ? Was it in Montreal? How long did u wait to get the interview? So many questions! Sorry !

Yes, I agree. They need a lot better training . When I sent in my third police certificate, they were unsure it would pass as it didn’t say privacy on it . But nvc did accept it ! So I hope to spread the word about that ! Canada has many different record checks!

I just calmly paid my $1200 to RV and they have been great to me. Have no idea where $3000 came from. Did I miss something?
I have been dealing with rapidvisa since 2017 , we did the payment plan. I believe we paid 3 payments before any paperwork was sent in. I have some great help from some of their employees but I also have had some horrible experience with some. . They’re were no help with my police certificate. I ended up doing it 3 times. Which made me lose almost 4 months . But I finally have the right one. Now I am waiting for notice on my interview!

Do u know what the priority date has to do with when u get your interview? Mine was Jan 18 / 2018 . We just had to wait for income tax, I had a horrible time getting the right privacy record check done.

Check the regional forum for Canada, there's likely a discussion about Montreal interview wait times there. You can also check the CR1/IR1 timelines of those who have gone through Montreal to see how long it took for them between NVC case closed and interview. NVC typically schedules the interview a month ahead of the date, but how long it can take before you get an appointment depends on the backlog of the consulate
Ok, thank u !
