You need a criminal lawyer to help out for the letter of disposition if you need.  Immigration is to handle USCIS or Immigration related court matters.  Am I correct to say he was detained?  Since he is the wrong suspect and there were no charges.   So a letter of detention from police instead?

Yes I have found a criminal lawyer found on jamaica embassy website and emailed right away. Yes he was detained and finger printed. They really want a letter with “ final disposition “ basically saying this case is closed and verdict was not guilty he went to court as well. Just a confusing situation , we just want this done immediately ! Im on top of things hopefully lawyer responds soon. His lawyer that handled the case has not answered at all which not obligated too but we really need this done asap.

That's a tough. If it were me, I would return to the court and plead your situation and if they aren't willing to help ask for a supervisor or someone they report to. Second, if that doesn't work contacting the Lawyer who worked on the case would be good choice. I wish you the best.

Yes I called 2 lawyers 1 immigration and 1 criminal they said we need to ask for a letter of disposition .. his original lawyer has not answered any phone calls since the 28th .. but i figured he would be the one to actual get this done faster. Its like if you dont ask for exact info they dont help further in Jamaica its frustrating ! But will do thanks

K1 visa jamaica .. long story short we were put on 221g on October 28th. 1 being a letter of acquittal from a court case that was deemed inadmissible because my fiancé was the wrong suspect. Picking up police record nothing is on it he has copy of court case. He has went to the courts to get a letter of acquittal but they wont write one because nothing is on police report and said embassy should be able to just take court records... we have been getting the run around since the 28th.. who do we call ? Im thinking his lawyer that handled the case may be able to type one up ? ANYONE HELP !
