Which I don't understand is: if there is a travel ban from the Schengen zone still effective, why the US Embassy does not give the option to K1 visa applicants to set up an appointment and get to the US though another country with no restrictions? Stay first there for 15 days in quarantine... I don't know but this is really confusing...

Hello! I have applied for k-1 fiancee visa this month and I would like to visit before the end of the year my fiancee in US. Did someone visit from Europe to their fiancee in the states while applying for the k-1 visa? The lawyer told me is up to the officer at the port of entry to allow someone in the country or not.
