  1. DHS error; it arrived with the wrong date of permanent residency (20 days before I had the interview)
  2. The conditional green card expired and I already applied for removal of conditions. The denial letter said I was supposed to wait for ROC. It feels like they didn’t even look at my application to be honest.
  3. Absolutely. I will say that I haven’t been asked for any proof of anything since I got employed but I did update my employer on everything.
  4. Gotcha. Makes sense to me. I’ll try to see if they’ll give me a new stamp.
  5. Thank you all. I managed to reach out to Emma and got connected to a live agent (after several tries). Of course I never know if what they say is fully accurate but they confirmed I can travel with the current stamp, which is surprising
  6. You believe that the one I already have is not valid anymore?
  7. I don’t have the green card anymore because they took it from me. I do have the extension letter though.
  8. Hi everyone, I am in a bit of a pickle. I have travel plans outside of the country but I just received my denial in the mail. I applied for a I751 when I became eligible (came here on K1, adjusted status, etc). My conditional green card arrived with an error and I immediately submitted the I90 to get that fixed. Well, it took USCIS two years to say no and that’s after it already expired, so I wasn’t surprised that that happened. However, I have a stamp that is based on the pending I90. My question is as follows: can I still travel and return safely, or do I need to go to a field office yet again to get it? I just got this one in August of this year.
  9. I am unsure. My AOS and K1 are on there (I can’t remember whether I put them in manually or not) and they’re empty - status is current of course - but I filed my i90 online and it has all of my uploads and their notices. Maybe it’s a good idea to have your cases there and it should get updated as they progress
  10. I believe that part isn’t empty only if you file and upload everything online. If you sent everything by mail, then it will be empty.
  11. I am in a bit of an interesting situation. Adjusted status from K1. When I received my conditional green card, it arrived with an error. I immediately submitted i90, which is still pending. That was almost two years ago. I’m now about to submit i751. My question is as follows: can I travel abroad after receiving the notice that my green card is extended (797c that follows submission of the i751), or do I have to ask for the i551 stamp?
