Well, not necessarily a xerox but it was obviously printed on a laser printer. In other words, it isn't printed on the coloured paper used for the NOAs and such. (I can probably scan it and remove identifying details if it would help.)
The doctor is on the approved list, so that's not an issue either.

Ours does not say "unless already submitted." The letter is just a xerox copy of what I assumed they sent everyone. Apparently mine's different, somehow. (This letter is coming from the Chicago office, if that makes a difference.)
The medical is not over a year old; it was done in July, and was done by an American doctor. Because my husband already was residing in the US when we filed, we've never had to deal with a consulate.

Not all of the forms can be typed on, from what I remember from doing my own forms. Only a few of them are set so you can type in the blanks. Alternatively, you may need to update your program that reads PDFs, but I'm pretty sure that the I-864 isn't a 'fillable' form.

My husband finally got te letter stating that he's been scheduled for his AOS interview (to take place May 23rd). I feel that I'm as well prepared as I can be, but the letter threw me for a bit of a loop when it says to bring "medical examination form I-693 in a sealed envelope".
We already submitted one medical exam when we filed the initial AOS package (he's adjusting from an F-1, if that makes a difference). Does that mean we have to shell out the money to get another medical exam? The doctor that did his exam also submitted the I-693 supplement form, as well, so we're not missing that, either.
I'm hoping that this is just a form letter sent to everyone and it doesn't mean we have to pay for another exam!

We moved from PA to IL in January and, like other people said, despite sending in all the forms and calling the phone number a million times, they still didn't correct our address. My husband's EAD/AOS biometrics letter and his AOS papers were sent to our old address. They eventually made their way back to us, a couple of weeks delayed. We made an infopass appointment in Chicago once we realised they totally didn't fix our address, and they got everything straightened out for us. Something to keep in mind for when the government fails to accurately change your address too.

Thanks kezzie.
Any other ideas, or will the infopass be able to take care of the problem?

Hi there!
Today my husband got his letter with his appointment time for biometrics for his I485 and I765... after it got shuffled around by the post office for a week and a half because USCIS still sent it to the wrong address, a month after we informed them of our change in address (all the appropriate forms, informed them over the phone, and letters to both old and new offices).
To make a long story short, the office he was assigned to go to is not where we live now. It's, well, halfway across the country. Is there any way for him to get this appointment switched to a more local office (we are in Chicago)? Flying and then renting a car to go to this office that we shouldn't isn't something that we can afford unless there's no other alternative.
Any suggestions?

Hi there!
Today my husband received his Advance Parole papers in the mail, which made us very happy. Only one problem -- they've got the wrong address printed on them. We moved in between the time where we filed for AOS and now. We've already informed USCIS of our new address, so it's not like they don't have it or anyhting.
Is having the wrong address printed on the AP going to be a problem? Do we need to call them to get that corrected? We're fairly sure we're never actually going to use the AP but wanted the documents in case of an emergency or something.
Thanks for any help.

My husband had his biometrics done at the Broadway location as well and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was by far the most positive experience we'd had yet with this whole process. Hopefully the interview will be just as easy-going.
