    U. S. Customs and Border Protection.   The people who allow or deny entry when a person reaches our border.  They have discretion for all visitors visits.

Got it. Thank you. I was Under the impression  that the beneficiary was not allowed in the US till we were to get married.??? That the petitioner was the only one who could visit.

  2. I am from US he is in England. just wondering if anyone knows if he can visit? I will be going there next week but would love for him to be able to come back with me. I am part of the "love is not tourism'" group on  FB and see people doing a quarantine in different countries before entering US. Just not sure if he can since we are in the middle of the visa. All that's left for us was the interview :( thank you

It doesn't have to be printed, you can show it on your phone. I printed it just in case. It does NOT attach to your passport or anything like that. You will be responsible for providing it via phone or printed copy to the border agent. Here's the link: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/public-health-passenger-locator-form😊

    thank you again.

My wife LITERALLY just got a flight back home, she was with me for 3 weeks. Completely stress free, as long as you fill in the form they do not care. Measures in the UK have eased significantly.

    thank you!

Hi! I came to England at the end of July (flew into Manchester). Ensure you have the correct quarantine form. I had the right one but UK Citizens in line in front of me actually had the wrong form. I honestly stressed for weeks about it and was worried but the Border agent asked if I knew I had to quarantine and I said yeah and that was that. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.

Hi! thanks for the response. Did It have to be printed? or does it come up when you scan your passport? Also, do you have a link to the form? Just to ensure I am looking at the right one. :)

  5. I have posted before about my fiance's aug. 10 interview being canecled. Anyone know when we can reschedule? Or maybe where I can find info to stay on top of it, so i dont keep asking. lol

    thank you

The London website had that order I gave for a long time. Then they changed the steps and they really make no sense. Some people rush it all through, but I try to emphasize getting your ducks in a row before picking appointments. I have been on this UK forum years and have seen the desperate posts about “My Medical is in two days and my GP surgery can’t give me my things for two weeks”.  It’s less stressful if you are prepared before each step and don’t get bumped out of the work flow and are stuck wondering when they will work you back in after pausing you for lack of preparation.

Get all the shots needed for AOS before your medical so you will be signed off and not have to pay $$$ to another approved doctor in the US. Even if the clinic says you can wait to get them, understand that you will have expense and hassle in the US that can be avoided if you get all that done and signed off at your visa medical.

Hi! might be a dumb question... is it too early to book my fiance's flight?his police certificate is on the way. the packet with me and my cosponsors info, new evidence, etc is in England. but not delivered to my fiance just ye. medical is on June  25th. Interview is scheduled for August 10th. was thinking of booking for after the 24th of August? or do people usually wait till after the interview to book the tickets. thank you in advanced for your opinion :)

Have seen those posts as well, am trying to get all my ducks in a row to avoid that stress. probably why I have too many questions. lol thank you again, this info plus the info on embassy site should help a ton.

The medical clinic asks to see the instruction  letter to confirm your LND number. They accept the email/letter the petitioner gets from NVC which also has the LND number. At no other time does the letter get shown. On interview day, there is a confirmation of appointment date/time to show. You print that out yourself when you select your appointment. Many people do their London bit without the embassy letter.

This is the best order to follow. It works.

    1. Submit DS-160.
    2. Gather documents. (for interview as well as documents for medical appointment). You don't want a looming appointment if you hit a hiccup and won't have what you need for the appointment.
    3. Book your medical date by calling the clinic. 020 7486 7822.
    4. Book the courier, pay, and pick an interview date all at the same time on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv. Select “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment”, whether you have the letter or not.  Leave 10 calendar days between medical and interview for best results.
    5. Attend your medical.
    6. Attend your interview.

Gather documents step is important. See these 2  lists:

    https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/

    http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/us-bring.htm

And do read all the information and FAQs on the embassy website instructions. Don't assume you picked up everything you need to know in the K1 threads. Each embassy does things in their own way.

THANK YOU!!!! it gets a little overwhelming sometimes.. great break down. thank you

The letter tells you to get your instructions from their website. It’s all there, just read everything.

will they ask for this letter during the process? I can just do these steps without the letter from the embassy? It says on the site to contact them if i haven't received the letter. I

K1s have recently (last week) booked London appointments for early July. The clinic is open two days a week. They want emails for booking the medical until they are back in full operation.

See the UK forum on here and find the thread about appointments.
    UK forum https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

amazing!!!! so at this point we just need to wait for the letter with the appointment date. then he can schedule his medical? Can he get his police report? or just wait till the letter comes. THANK YOU!!!!! I'm going to pin the link so I know how to access the threads. I appreciate it.
