Hello I had a quick question. I see you are the guru. I am a USC filling out the two CR1 I-864 for my spouse and stepchild who are coming at the same time. I understand that I need to file two separate forms for each. I am stuck on  Part 3 #1 for the spouse application.  Do i just select yes and do not enter in the stepchild below on family member section? If so how do i enter the stepchild in part 5 to calculate the correct household size? The stepchild is not truly a dependent yet since the step child lives in another country but they are not being sponsored on this affidavit .  I think Part 3 # 2 is just there to confuse us who are bring our stepchild.   I am at a loss for how to now account for the stepchild on the spouses application. The household size will be less if i don't account for the child.  Any help would be great this is the only thing holding me up from sending off my application.
