If not alls you need is NBI clearance at the interview.

    hello beckypua..

    from DS-156K form:

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTACHED IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A FIANCE(E) NONIMMIGRANT VISA.

    Your Birth Certificate

Birth Certificates of All Children Listed in Number Five

NOTE All of the above documents will also be required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) when you apply for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident. The USCIS will accept these documents for that purpose.

  5. Hello to you,

We have same interview dates and medical exam but your so lucky coz you have it all already for the pocket! How you search it online? my fiance already called US state and said Mnl already mailed the pocket to me last aug. 10. 2007. I am from cebu city and until now the pocket not yet arrive and it is already two weeks since they mailed it.

Do I need to call the embassy or just my fiance will do it? pls help me and if you have a contact number or person i can contact and talk in the embassy I just want to make sure that the pocket will arrive safe in my home.

But for my interview date we are planning to do it later date oct. 8 coz my fiance will be coming here in cebu arrive oct. 5 in the evening it is possible we can change it into later dates?

Thank you for all your replies hope to hear you all guys! :innocent::whistle:

God bless to all of us.

    hi key ... :)

..I don't have the packet yet from the USE.. I tried calling them since yesterday but I can't get through to check if they already received our petition from NVC so I decided to just check and entered our case number online .... http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwh3023.html ... to see if I already have my appointment dates..and so surprised I got it! Well, what u have to do now.. is WAIT - hope you'll have the packet very soon... (me too) hehehe .. Regarding to your question about having your interview later than your assigned date.. for what I've read.. you can but i don't know if how long you'll wait again for the interview... and for the hotel --I suggest you just stay to those along Roxas Blvd or Malate (near the USE and St. Lukes)....

    Goodluck!

  6. hi guys...

    I need YOUR HELP... :help:

We're already been approved... our papers left NVC and we're just waiting for it to get to the US Embassy here in Manila, Philippines... What's NEXT??? ;) Do i have to call the US Embassy? and what are the things i NEED to KNOW...DO...and...COMPLY?...

wishing good luck to all the applicants especially to all FILIPINAS!!! :D

    i'LL wait for your answers....

    THANK YOU!!!

  7. See my timeline below.

So it made it to the NVC in under a week and she told me on the phone when I called the NVC that most petitions never stay over 5 days once they are received.

    wioombeen,

I'm glad to see something moving quick for you. I got my NOA2 a couple days before you, but i called the NVC today and they have not received it. This is holding to form for my complete visa experience, everything is going to take longer then most. My NOA2 took 111 days (no RFE) and now it looks like NVC is going to take the full 4 weeks. I'm keeping hope something during this process moves as fast as most, not slower then most. Just a little rant...sorry

    Take care,

    Robert

  8. That's my five cents. Can someone please give me back my change?

    Cheers!!!

    Sheriff Uling

Sheriff, you don't need your change ... you still "OWE" us a lot with your "expertise" and "humor". bigthumbup.gif Keep it up!

 Well not today... I just got blasted for "attempting" to be humorous from the most unlikely canidate... Go figure!

hopefully the op will realize a little humor can help lighten the stress of the process.

Let's hope so... Whether I'm joking or being serious, I have been experiencing some severe attitudes lately in my daily life and then this last inncident... Arghhhh!!!

    Sheriff,

I read the posting you wrote and i thought it was putting some humor in a subject perceived to be overly heavy. Don't let some of these guys get to you and make you change how you do things and what you do for the rest of us VJers. You added a humorous response to Sheryl's 1st post and we have found you to be very helpfull.

So, F#@& them if they can't take a joke.

    Robert

  9. hi gUyS... i just want to know about this .... :help:

I already applied for my passport at DFA but i can't claim it yet because i have to attend the counseling requirement for (K1 VISA) at CFO... I've waited until our application will be approved - and THANK GOD we're approved last JULY 17, 2007 :thumbs: before i attend the Guidance & Counseling Services at CFO... I'm just confused if after I attend the COUNSELING (PRISM) and receiving the Guidance & Counseling Certificate , I also have to register it right away at CFO MANILA....coz i don't have my passport yet...

What I'm thinking is just to attend the GUIDANCE & COUNSELING SERVICES (PRISM) to have my Guidance & Counseling Certificate.. then submit it to the DFA to give me my passport...and the actual registration at CFO MANILA will follow. I mean the release of my passport will come first before registering it... Is this right?

    THANKS in advance!!!!!!

    Sheryl.... :)

  10. I got a touch today. Been checking it all day. as of a few moments ago it updated. I have not used the RFE thing in a few days now as well. so this must be a legitimate touch PLZPLZLZ let it be hahaha.

    wioombeen,

I think it is for real, because i haven't called or dealt with them in any way and I just got my first 2 touches (yesterday and today) in over 3 months  . Let's keep our fingers crossed that we ALL will hear some good news soon(e.g. today or tomorrow).

    Good Luck,

    Robert

  11. It does seem like for every foot forward we go two back...I look at it as a test and I don't like failing, plus I love Sheryl more than anything and will wait as long as it takes...though it is very tough...that is what is great about VJ, we know we are not alone and we can talk about our issues with other people in the same boat as ourselves and in a way that make things more bearable :)

    Good Luck To All,

    Robert
