We had our interview today at 1:00 PM and we're APPROVED!!! The interviewer just asked us about:

- how we met .. when and where - our story before the marriage

- when we got married ..how was it?

- and just questions to verify what we had in our AOS application (applicant's info)

Overall it was very fast...

We mailed my AOS last march 19, 2008 and USCIS received it on march 25, 2008... i got NOA1, Biometrics appointment, AP approved and EAD card received but that's all...

It has been more than 6 months now and still no development with my case...

Any advice of what we should do?...

I'm preparing I-131 form and just want to know what to supply on Part 7:

- explain how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole

- copies of any documents you wish considered

and also do i have to sign the Part 8?

Just want to ask if it is really necessary to file for I-131, Application for Travel Document when applying for AOS - we're gonna mail our AOS package this week.

We're not yet sure on when to travel... and I saw that on the form we need to supply answers to date of intended departure & length of trip..

We are now preparing to apply for AOS ... what we want to know is regarding of changing my last name to my husband's last name before filing AOS or better to change it after filing AOS because we're thinking that if i change it now it will affect with my papers/documents for AOS...

I arrived to Manila in morning of the interview day (10/4) ... the interview was lightning quick (3 minutes)...they asked 5-6 questions and said we were approved...i asked if we could pick up the visa and they said no problem...picked up the visa (10/10)...we flew together to the US (10/12) and are now together ...the "visa journey" was arduous and seemingly un-ending, but we never gave up HOPE and we got through it ...next is the wedding (11/17) :energetic: ...then we go through the AOS, another long road, but we will travel that road together ...I guess life is a journey and i am traveling through it with the woman i love

To all out there in the process of the visa...stay strong and your prayers will be answered

You should be ok as far as the embassy goes. I would be more concerned with delivering the visa and don't remember if Claudeth gave DELBROS a delivery address. Do you think the address you gave is deliverable?

...first of all, thank you for the fast reply - i really appreciate it! .. that's the problem it's not deliverable the one i put in G-325A form.. with this situation ..can my fiance just write a letter of visa pick-up and give it to the CO especially im staying with him in the condo while we're waiting for the visa -- no one will receive my visa at home..

I think I did something wrong with my address in the G-325A form ... I filled out my address and it is INCOMPLETE -- I just put there Blk. 4 lot 5 Vista St.________ _________ ________ and the CITY, PROVINCE and COUNTRY -- i failed to put the subdivision name and town as I just followed the form itself .. maybe that's why my packet 4 didn't reach my place coz USEM just refer my address to the G-325A form... but I know my fiance put my complete address in the I-129 form..

My interview will be on OCT. 4' 07..I'm really worried about this discrepancy with my documents.,...

Do you think it will be questioned or can I be put on AR?

do i have to do something for it now --an affidavit of discrepancy or something?

Anyone who have knowledge about this... please help me...
