Priority Date - 30-SEP-2019 Category - F2A My DQ date was updated from August 2021 to February 2023 after I added our new born to our F2A application. Will removing my new born from the application set the date back to the old DQ date? Is there a way to get the date back to the old one? The new date will mean more wait time and it has been more than 4 years since we've been apart.

Hi guys, So the last update wrt ILs received I see here is for DQ of June 21 2021. My DQ date is 13 August 2021. I added my newborn to the application and receive a DQ date of 10 Feb 2023 (See attached) My worst fear - will I be receiving IL according to the new DQ date or the old one? Thanks

I have added my newborn and submitted the required documents. Still awaiting acceptance. I will post the update once they're accepted.

30-SEP-2019 I believe the PD is current for F2A category. Don't think it should matter.

Well I did contact the Embassy and the NVC as well, but all I get are generic copy/paste replies informing me about the status of my application instead of addressing my concern. 🙄

Thanks for your response. Yes I do want the child to immigrate as well. I had read somewhere that follow-to-join can be applied to newborns where the child can accompany the parent ,with the required documents, directly to the interview. I needed some clarity on this one.

Hi everyone, I am a GC holder in the US and my wife and son are in India waiting for our F2A IL since being DQ'd in Sept 2021. We had our second child in Nov' 22. Can someone please shed some light on whether I need to add the newborn to the existing application and submit DS-260 or is there any other alternative to it? Will adding him push the DQ date to the present date? Thanks

Hi Everyone. I am a Permanent Resident of the US and my wife n 3 yr old son are in India awaiting their IL. Their DQ date is Sept 2021. While I was in India in Feb'22, we planned our second child and we have the due date in the 3rd week of November 2022. I plan to add the newborn to the present application once I have his/her passport handy. I'd like to know if the DQ date will remain the same Sept'2021 or will it change after I add the newborn to the application? Thanks
