Hey folks!

A doubt.

I have been reading all topics and documents I can and so far didn't quite understand the NVC process.

Our NOA2 arrived Set 14 and now it should be at NVC hands. What happens then?

I heard that NVC sends the petition to the consulate at the same day they communicate to us - since the process is electronic, but I also read in some timelines dates where the case has arrived and left NVC and then arrived at a later date to the consulate.

I'm from Brazil - but that makes any difference? I mean, the process is the same for everyone, right?

I was thinking in send the package 3 as soon as we hear our number case from NVC.

Yes, I just read what you send to me and they say nothing about ears. I guess my picture should work then. What I know is that at the embassy they "require" the ears on the photo... God knows why... LOL

I was willing to use the same passport picture I sent to CSC - there is even a "date" showing. Do you think that this could be an issue?

Hello everyone.

I’m gathering the papers to send the NOA3 (Package 3) and I have one question.

The picture I have – it is the same one I used to send to CSC. It shows my face, but not my ears. I know that at the day of interview I must have a picture showing both ears (without earrings’ if possible), but in that phase, can I use my current photo (since it was approved by CSC)?

We sent the application at the beggining of may, but only got our NOA1 at may 23, and after 4 months, we got our NOA2 - last friday - sep 14!

See? You are getting closer! Breathe and be brave - I'm sure it is almost over!

I don´t want to wait and do nothing anymore! Who got their NOA2 already from CSC and filed the beginning of May?

Christmas I had planed to be in the US but I guess that went down the toilet by now

Thank you for your words of support. Yes, it is love which drives us all, and no one could have a better reason. You are right, but sometimes I fail in my strength. I wish I could do something!

4 months - I start wondering if they still have my case! Do you think that helps at all trying and calling CSC?

Yeah, I agree with the idea of disabling certain timelimes. At some point we don't know if people are just miserable as us or if they were blessed and then just forgot to update their info...

I'm May filer too.

We applied at May 02 but only got our NOA1 at May 23.

My fiance called CSC yesterday but he said it was a machine system who answered him. As I have been reading, some people called and realized their case was approved or got approved in the following days.

Am I wrong?

Do you think we should try and call again?

Almost four months and NOTHING!

I'm getting despair here with that endless waiting. It is so sad to be apart for so long and without knowing when we can be again reunited with those we love.

Hey Victor,

Welcome to this endless waiting. I saw that you have applied almost at same time me and my fiancé. He uses to say to me to not look at the CSC web site, since they don't tell us the truth!

I've been following process the are close to ours and I have faith that till the end of this month we will get our NOA2!

Is anyone there who can send me a word of how we "immigrants" are received in USA?

You join us in this endless wait of NOA2 (hopefully without any RFE). Are you applying for CSC too?

According VJ statistics it will take like 2 months until you get it!

Just for you to know, it took us more than 20 days to hear from them!

Maybe that is also your case. Hopefuly!

Since the average time to get the NOA1 is 10 days, its been nearly 30 and for word from the California office. However they did cash my check on the 14th. I have not recieved my NOA1 and its worrysome. Any idea whats u with those people?

According the time line, the 3rd one I shall receive there - so I hope.

I know we have to set an appointment with a doctor and one of his requests is to get our “vaccination” profile.

Someone knows which one we need to take and if I can try to take them now – instead of waiting his order?
