if you are flying in the US you just need valid photo ID.. does not make a difference if you have AOS or anything..

thats true! i always travel with my drivers licence, and have no problem! And before it, i traveled with my peruvian pasport, and no problem... INSIDE THE USA

On our Interview notice, it states that the US Citizen needs to bring their Birth Certificate as well as evidence of US Citizenship. Does anyone know if this is a "hard rule"? Or, will my US Passport ONLY suffice??? Just wondering if I need to jump through some hoops to get a copy of my birth certificate. Thanks.

At the AOS interview our IO asked if I had my birth certificate with me, and I said yes. She said ok, but then never asked to see a copy of it. Be on the safe side and bring it, cause if the officer asks for it and you dont have it, you will face delays on your approval.

Also, it must be an original with a stamp, not a copy.

What happend to us, was that first we filed the i - 130 and we didnt wait for the NOA... and then we send the i-485, EAD, and the medical exams.. so they rejected.

I call to the costumer service line, telling me to send all of it together.. after that i havent any other problems... so i definitly advice you to send all of it together

yeap! i didnt put my paper in any folder, but i guess you could use one of those folders that have pockets inside

i hope they stamp my passport sooo badly, cause otherwise i would loose my flight

mmm definitly call to USCIS, cause i woudnt think the appointment date, is going to come so soon, mine took a couple of weeks, but you have to realize that right now are the holidays. Anyway, i check my letter, and they specify the address where you needed to go. hope it helps

i thought that if you didint received it in less than 4 weeks, you could call to costumer service... maybe they can give you any type of answers...

I havent experince that, but for what i have read, i should be able to be in the interview! but your fiance, can call the embassy of USA in her contry and ask!
