Hello,
I have questions about obtaining the ghana police certificate. Do you really need to take the hard copy of your passport or a soft copy will suffice? Also, I thought it was 120 ghana cedis to obtain it? Because I was told that if you have traveled outside the country within 6 months, you have to pay 1200 ghana cedis. Thank you. -

Hello, I don't want to cause you any stress but I think it's a big deal.
We made the same mistake but we didn't notice it until our second interview.
We have been in AP for 7 months with no idea how much longer it will last, espeically with this pandemic.
Everyone case is different but at our second interview the person that interviewed my Husband really drilled him about his fathers name.
I really hope someone tells you if your marriage license can be amended. Good Luck
Thank you for your response. I hope you hear good news soon.

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is staying safe. We are in the process of gathering all civil documents to upload onto CEAC. So my husband just realized on the marriage certificate, we didn’t include his dad’s surname. It was just his first and middle name. How bad is this? Has any Ghanaian petitioners had a similar issue? Thank you.

Actually, depending on the circumstances, this can be a very bad thing, or a non-issue. From Ghana or a number of other high fraud countries, family members arranging a fake marriage for immigration benefit only is a very common fraud scenario. The full story and the real facts, along with how it is presented in an "evolution of relationship letter" will make all the difference. This is not something to ignore, or really to deal with based on the advice of those inexperienced with this specific kind of case.
Noted. Thank you.

It really shouldn’t be a problem. I’d think it’d even be a good thing then since your families know each other.
Thank you!

Shouldn't be an issue. Common red flags would be: large age gap (particularly the woman significantly older than the man), only a couple short visits, significant religious/cultural differences, etc
Thank you for your response.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if meeting my spouse through my mom and his aunt a red flag? We are going through a high fraud country. My mom and his aunt are friends. Does anyone here have a similar experience? Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Please, did any of you who mailed their form i -130 using a USPS money order without signing it get a rejection or did USCIS accept it? The USPS money order does not provide a place to sign as compared to money orders from western union and others. Thank you.

Of you don't back up your chat history to any drive. Google drive. Icloud... etc
You will not be able to get it again.
You should use the same number with the same phone log in to drive and try to restore your chat
I hope this will be helpful
Thank you

Hello everyone ,
i am putting together my packet to file a CR1 petition for my husband. I have taken screenshots of our WhatsApp chats and call history. In 2017, my sister accidentally deleted the first six months of my chats with my husband. Back then, I had no idea I could retrieve it by reinstalling my WhatsApp. My Husband had two numbers he used. He stopped using the one with the information I need at the end of 2017. He recently went to the mobile service provider to get that same number to retrieve the chats I was missing but WhatsApp came up with nothing. So, is there a way to get those chats back? Also, how many months of call history does WhatsApp store? I could only get call history from the last week of December 2018. Thank you.
