  1. Hello! Hope someone could help me here.I'm currently living here in the USA. I applied for IR1 and IR2 for my wife and my 6 year old son. We finally got an interview for them last Februaryn 15, 2024. My wife was approved for IR1 and unfortunately my son's IR2 was refused because the consul was saying I'm already a US citizen when my son was born so we have apply for a CRBA. When my wife and son got to the interview for the CRBA, the consul said the father (ME) did not meet the 5 years residency in the USA. Now my problem is, is it possible to switch back to IR2 visa for my son? my wife's IR1 visa will expire on April 26, 2024. We don't want to leave our son in the Philippines with our relatives. Please help us. Thank you
  2. I am talking about IR 1 and 2. I will just wait then, hopefully this year I will get a notification from NVC. Thank you so much!
  3. @powerpuff @appleblossom Thank you so much for replying! I guess I will just wait for the notification from NVC. Thanks again.
  4. The consulate is in the Philippines. Is it possible to call the consulate and ask them to schedule the interview? Or just wait for notification?
  5. Hello fellow journey members! Would like to ask how long will I be notified for my wife and son's interview. My application was received and approved by the NVC on February 28, 2023. But until now I have not receive any emails or updates from them. Thank you
  6. I meant joint sponsor. So if i deleted the i864, i will just upload the 2 i864w from me and my joint sponsor?
  7. Hello! My problem is in the CEAC for my son's petition. They keep asking for my son's I-864W 3 times and I already submitted it about 3 times already. Everytime they asked I uploaded it with an updated i864W form. Its accepted but they still asking again. Also CEAC rejected my I-864 and the co petitioner's I-864 for my son's application even though they are almost identical to my wife and hers are accepted. For my wife's petition. They kept asking for my 2021 w2 and the co petitioner's 2021 w2. Everytime they asked, I submit it to them right away. Who should I call? NVC is not accepting calls anymore. I asked the askNVC but they keep telling some generic message "The documents you submitted will be reviewed soon. We will let you know whether we complete your case or if we need more information." Hopefully someone here will help me.
  8. Is it possible to use my old and current passports stamps to show that I have live in the US? The irs only goes 3 years back for the tax returns
  9. I read somewhere here in the forum that you need to be in the US for five years prior to the child to be born to be able to file CRBA. So I worked at retail shoe store from 2009 to 2012 and army national guard from 2013 to 2016. The thing is my 2012 tax file is missing and I can't produce another copy that's why I didn't start or file CRBA at all. I then stayed in the Philippines from march 2016 to february 2021. I got married in the Philippines in March 2017 and my child was born in August 2017.
  10. My child is not a US citizen. He is born in the Philippines. I was going to file for CRBA but I don't have enough papers to file that.
  11. Hello, I would like to petition my wife and my 3 year old kid to come here in the US. We are married for 4 years now. And I just came back here in the US last February 19, 2021. I am a US citizen and been working as a nurse for about a month now in New York. Am I too early to file for a petition? I know my salary is not enough now but my sister is willing to be the co sponsor. Hope to get answers about my inquiry. Thank you,
