NOA2 for I-129f Sept 10 2019
.....first time posting here. Still waiting for NOA2 for I-130. Keeping fingers crossed.
Best of luck to everyone!!!
You could try to call and see the latest status on the I-130. Sometimes the system is slow in updating.

Sure will do

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all of the useful information you guys are sharing for your journey. I've been assigned an IOE number on 8/22 (seems everyone July and onwards has) and the NSC. Should go ahead and file an 1-129F form as soon as possible in hopes that it will expedite the approval of my I-130 or should I wait a one to two months to make sure my I-129F is denied at the same time my I-130 is approved? Based on what i've read there is no I-129F filing fee for spouses as we are already legally married. Is that correct?
In case the I-129F is approved and we end up getting a K-3 Visa, can I still go through the regular CR-1 process or do I have to perform an AOS. We are planning to have a huge wedding event in December 2020 in USA and since we will have lots of my spouses family members flying in from out of country we want to make sure that she can enter the country for sure (either k-3 or CR1) and not take chances with an ETSA. After the wedding event she would return back to her country and continue working until she receives her CR-1 visa. The reason why we don't want to AOS while she is in the US with her K-3 visa is because she doesn't want to come and live in the USA unless she has the ability to work immediately which would be the case through the CR-1 process.

Question for you all. We are in the processes of a CR1 visa. In my i130 application I put my spouses new last name even though her french passport has her old last name. We have a US marriage certificate that shows the linkage between her old last name to her new one. It is taking quite sometime to get her French passport Updated to her last name.
Would we have any issues at NVC with her passport showing her old maiden name?
The marriage certificate shows the linkage so I’m not sure how they will handle it.
