So, glad to hear you got approved.

I'm still waiting. Did the USCIS website ever updated that notification? I wonder if you just got the letter with the approval or if they ever update notification when you enter your case number.

The US government and its bureaus are not well known for their efficiency. It's not necessary per se, but it's expected. When you're going through literally millions of total petitions per year and you have no profit motive (or really any motive at all) to actually do it quickly, goals of efficiency fall by the wayside.

I understand your point of view and also Michael's. In my opinion, you are both right! I understand is the way the system works, however you have to take into consideration that we are talking about families been separated. It's very unfortunate, that the system has to work this way. like you said Fernthony we just have to suck it up and fight through to the end. However, if I were you I would take back the word Necessary, I don't think it describes this process very well.

But any way. Hope everything goes quick for you all. (still waiting from my side)

Just want to check in , we are July 10, 2019. 104 days waiting 😢..  This process is really hard and having the Nebraska Service Center being twice as long is really not fair.

I guess we are in the same boat. This process is just to painful. and if you think about it all they are doing is to determine if you have a valid relationship with the beneficiary (approving I-130). Really? All the paper work is done after by NVC and then the consulate abroad; and that's fairly quick. I don't understand why does it take so long to approve that I-130 form, at least for consular petitions (change of status process is another story). Sorry to hear it's taking to long. a lot of BS going on at USCIS.

No worries! Keep us posted :)

Sure,  I'll be posting any news I get from USCIS. hope you guys do the same. As today no changes, still waiiiiitiiiiing......, however my wife is here with her tourist visa for about 2 weeks (no problem at the airport, we though that was going to be an issue.  although she had it before the I-130 petition).

Have you seen such users who said their i130 was approved. My husband is Green Card holder.

yes, if you look back to the previous posts on this forum, you can see their answers. Just remember the approval of I-130 if the first step of the process. once I-130 gets approved if the beneficiary spcouse  is out of US,  your case will be transfers to the NVC for further processing. when a visa become available and you summit all the documents required, then NVC will send the case will send the case to embassy abroad where the beneficiary lives for an interview and finally issue the visa. for permanent resident this process in the NVC takes longer because is limited the amount of visas allocated each year for green card holders. that means green card holder need to wait until a visa become available for their relatives. this is not the case for citizens because the visa is immediately available since there is not limit to the amount of visa for them.

The good news is the sooner you get approved the I130 the sooner your case will be put to the waiting list for the visa to become available for your case.

good luck, I hope everything goes well for you both.

    Regards,

    HI,

yes, your service center is the California Service Center. That address states what service center is processing your case. In a paper application being processed in California Service center the receipt number should've start with letters CSCxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. however, since they are trying to implement electronic service to all the application forms, we may have fall into this pilot program, that's why our receipts may be starting with IOE. the question is since this is a pilot program our application will go thru faster? many people are saying that they got approved within 2 to 3 months with IOE receipt numbers. I just wondering if that's true.

could anybody confirm if their application got approved faster with IOE#
