  1. I know the CSC works until 11pm PST, which is awesome. Some of them are from the agency and some are real workers for the company (gov't). Probably, the gov't workers stay there until midnight PST.

HANG ON THERE... IT'S GONNA BE A RIDE OF A LIFETIME OF APPROVALS =)

It is great to hear that they are approving petitions.

Congrats to everyone that has been approved in these couple of days.

    Congratulations dbzman!! Excellent news!

Its interesting to see that there have been two approvals this week with emails coming after 11 pm. I never checked later than 7 or so (thinking that the Service center would be closed at that time - locally for us). Maybe I just need to check more often. So far today - NOTHING.

We are so close in timelines to you though - my hopes are up a little. I hope we see many more approvals soon!

Just wanted to show you guys =)

  3. Thank you guys for the information...

This means ... Me as a petitioner... have to fill out question #1 on the I-864 as "I am the petitioner. I filed or am filing for the immigration of my relative."

Does my mom need to fill up a I-864 too? or just fill up the I-864A?

    Thanks a bunch!

    clow,

You, as the petitioner, must be the Sponsor. Your mother would be the Joint Sponsor.

Or, as MargoDarko points out, if you and your mother live together you could use your mother as your Household Member rather than as Joint Sponsor. (I'm not sure if you can use her as a Household Member solely on the basis that you are her dependent in the event that you do not live with her.)

    Yodrak

I am currently working on the I-864. I'm am the petitioner. My income does not meet the requirements for the 125%. My mom surpasses the 125% by a lot!!!

Could I make her the joint sponsor only?

    OR

Include myself with my mom as one of the two joint sponsors?

P.S. She included me as a dependent, but my income does not show in the taxes because it was to low.

    Thank you!

  5. Hi,

    I have a few questions:

I saw on a few topics on Visa Journey that we can send the DS3032 by email. How do you send the forms by email cause you can't save the data on acrobat.

Is it being scanned then being emailed to the NVC?

Also, should I tell my wife to fill up the DS3032 and DS230 and have her mail it to me cause I want to be the agent for our case cause I'm in Cali and she's in HK.

I just wanted to find out information for later on =). I wanna get ready hehe.

  6. I sent my I-130 Priority Trackable Method and I am in Cali... very close to the CSC... I know the packet got there the next day... and I have no case number and the check has not cleared yet.

Did you send it via a trackable method? I sent my 129F packet certified priority, and it took over a week to get from Michigan to Nebraska, when it usually only takes about 3 days sending something that way. It took 13 days from the day I dropped it off at the post office to when CSC issued the NOA1, and about another week or so before I received the physical NOA1 in the mail.

Has the check cleared and have you been able to read the case number so as to punch it into the USCIS site to get information that way?
