Allhumdullilha my sister and her family got F4 visa on Dec 26th 2018. I would like to be thankful to Almighty Allah Pak and all VJ members for their kind support. It was longgg journey but finally over.

Our case status was Refused since our interview.

Dec 10th case updated status was Refused.

Dec 11th case updated again status was Refused

Dec 12th case status updated to Ready

Dec 20th case updated status was Ready

Dec 24th case status changed to AP,

Dec 26th visa issued (Alhamdulillah).

I just want to update here. We submitted our additional documents to us embassy Islamabad on Oct 26th, after long wait us embassy updated our case status from Refused to Ready on Dec 12th, 2018. No Idea how long more we have to wait to get visa? 

Hoping for good from Allah Pak.

As pre Islamabad embassy request we submitted  I864A  from joint sponsor on Oct 22nd. Sent an email inquiry to embassy on Nov 13th and received this email on Nov 20th. Our case stauts still showing Refused since interview. ( after interview we were told by CO that we will get our Visa in 2 weeks after submitting required documents). I don't know how long embassy will take to review our documents. FYI our case never went to AP.

Yes you should, if u and ur wife filing tax jointly you must have to otherwise u will get 221g to submit I864A.

don't forget to submit it without I864A form, if the sponsor filing Tax Rturn  Jointly. It happened with us we only submitted I864  unti we got the email from islamabad embassy(after 25 days) to submit I864A to process our case. Which I m going to send now and hope to get visa.(INSHA ALLAH)

 On Sep 13 my sister had F4 visa interview at Islamabad embassy after her interview visa officer gave her white slip and requested to upload a joint sponsor's affidavit of support on CEAC website. Since then I am wondering how to upload AOS because there is no any option to add joint sponsor on CEAC website. I sent them an email but no answer yet. They also kept her passport and visa officer told her everything looks fine you just need to get AOS and upload it online.

Hi everyone, Yesterday my sister had an immigrant visa interview with USA embassy Islamabad after her interview visa officer gave her white slip and asked her to get joint sponsor's AOS  and upload it on CEAC website. Since yesterday I have been trying to upload requested documents but having a really hard time to find out how to upload them. Can anyone please help me how to upload documents on CEAC website so they can issue her visa.

HI all

Today was my interview, it was schedule at 11:05am at Garden City, NY. Everything went smoothly. I went in handed my interview letter sat down in the waiting room area, about 55 minutes later my name was called. The officer who interviewed me was NICE, I went into his office and I didn't sit down until he told me so. He first told me to raise my right hand and sword me in. Then he told me to take a seat. He asked me for my passport and my Green Card.

Then We did the reading part of the interview first, he told me to read a sentence it was: "Who can vote?"

The sentence I had to write was: "Canada is in the north of the United States."

The test questions he asked me were:

"Who wrote the Declaration of Independence

Who is the vice President?

What are the two major political parties in the United States?

What is the political party of the President now?

There were 13 original states. Name three

Name one state that borders Mexico

He only asked six because I got the first 6 right. Then we moved on to my application, asked me to tell him my social security number, date of birth, address, where I worked, asked me about me wanting to change my name, then he asked the yes and no questions on the N-400 application.

He told me I passed and gave me a paper that said I passed and that he was going to recommend me for approval.

He then printed a page with my name on it and told me to look it over and make sure my info was correct, he step out at this point to go and recommend me. Then he came in and said that if I had one or two hours to spare I could get my oath letter today. I said yes, and then he told me to go to a waiting room area, and after an hour and a half i got my oath letter. The ceremony is on the 30th of this month.

Thus, the whole interview was very pleasant and very quick ( I think the interview took 15 minutes or less). The only thing that took long was waiting for the oath letter but that was my choice because I could have just waited to get it in the mail, but I just wanted to get it right away.

When I got back home after my interview, I got message form USCIS that my online case updated for Oath ceremony which is in Brooklyn, NY.

My status just changed to "testing and interview." It looks like the phone call to customer service on Monday may have helped move things along. Thank you to everyone who gave me the idea to do that!

yesterday I spoke to USCIS representative he gave me same information which I already know, could you please let me know how long they take to your case updated after contact to them? Because so for my status still on REF and no any touch as well.

California, your and my timeline are pretty similar. I talked with customer service lady on March 7. She told me that my case is pending and gave me service request number so that i can ask them again after 60 days (I told her that I have not received letter/information as shown on RFE except the biometric notice) If I will not get letter or information update.

Talked with FBI customer service, My print was returned to the USCIS same day when FP was taken.

That is all I know, everything else in dark.

I am also in same situation I done my finger prints January 13 2011, now its been more than 2 months but I didn’t get interview letter yet, on February 7, I got yellow letter to bring my 3 years tax paper when come to interview. thats it.
