Got it a week after he arrived. From what I read on here sometimes it doesn't always come automatically. I wasn't going to wait and see if my husband was in the majority of persons not receiving their card automatically. Three days after he arrived we went to the SS office and the officer confirmed that by selecting the option on the Visa application to have the SS card automatically mailed rarely happens. So its best for you to go directly to the SS office and fill out an application.

Actually there is a road block. My husband is having issues with getting the passport. Not sure what is really going on. He said he applied for it at the police station and always told me he was to go pick it up. This was over a three week period. Now he is telling me the officer never sent it off. #######! dont know what to think at this point

I told him he was to do it with an immigration officer at the station but he told me this guy was a regular police officer. So now he is saying that he is going to go to kingston and do it. I was just in Montego bay for almost two weeks. He could have done it there. dont know if he is bullshiting me or what. Told him I was not sending the money for this and not sure if this is the real issue

Girl they had the wrong email address for me. they mispelled it by one letter #######!! Sent them an email to correct this right away. Was wondering why my husband got an email for the visa bill and I did not even though they had it addressed to me too. Glad I caught it.

Hello, I am so sorry that I never responded. I am hoping to send my docs off sometime in October. Been traveling a lot in Jamaica and then my husband and family took care of my daughters a month after my last visit. Just sent my oldest daughter off to college and now I have to move. Just cant get a break. My husband is trying to come up with money to help. He feels bad.

Thanks! I see all this mix up with peoples files once it hits NVC! It is getting kind of scary. Also I see some people having issues with their case being sent back possibly becuase of an age difference. Dont know what to think anymore!

it aint over until the fat ladys sings as they say. Wow do you have a way to track it just to confirm that it was at least received? Then again the person you spoke was probably tired and did not even want to check properly. I am sure it is there, just need to give you a proper confirmation. Tell them to hurry up!
