    How long did it take to get the SSN?  Its been 3 weeks and we are still waiting

      Got it a week after he arrived. From what I read on here sometimes it doesn't always come automatically. I wasn't going to wait and see if my husband was in the majority of persons not receiving their card automatically. Three days after he arrived we went to the SS office and the officer confirmed that by selecting the option on the Visa application to have the SS card automatically mailed rarely happens. So its best for you to go directly to the SS office and fill out an application.

      Ya know, I dont even know what to say. They are just all over the place. Others have called and they are still being told 5 months. I a like whatever at this point. They not going to drive me crazy! LOl!

    Actually there is a road block. My husband is having issues with getting the passport. Not sure what is really going on. He said he applied for it at the police station and always told me he was to go pick it up. This was over a three week period. Now he is telling me the officer never sent it off. #######! dont know what to think at this point

      There are lots of couples on here where the female is older than the male. I have a friend who is 16 years older than her husband and yes he is in the States now.Given you can prove your relationship should be nooo problem... So again what is your question?

      yes it wont be a problem i know a couple and the woman was way older only thing they needed were more pictures of them so my advice to u would be have plenty of pictures of u two Good luck!!!!

    As for his shots take care of that way in advance. You could find out what he needs, find out what he may have documented already if possible and take it from there. That way there is no big bill for shots in the end.

    At a stand still because my husband never got his passport! He just applied for it two weeks ago, and hopefully it will be ready today and then he has to apply for the police certificate which will be another week so I am not paying the visa fee until I know he has both in hand. He is driving me crazy about now. So I dont think interview will be until september at this point

      Hey you don't even have to print the form, they accept an email like the first person said. I used this visajourney's template to write it
