They basically send ur visa to DHL office for you to pick it up. DHL 63 Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent Wuse 11 Abuja is a regular drop-off location . However i don't know if anything has changed . Ur visa should be printed in like 3days though if it's not sent to Abuja and you're not in lagos as at then , U can get someone to pick it up on ur behalf though

Okay thank you, i will wait in lagos till Friday before i leave

Hi. Try Presken hotel, they have a branch in Victoria Island. It’s nice and cheap at 18k a night. I wouldn’t recommend the cheaper ground floor rooms, noise from generator and all that.
If no rooms available for your date, check Blowfish, it’s just down the street from Presken although more expensive at 30k a night. Very nice though.

Thank you, blowfish is sold out

I have to look in my suitcase for the name of the one my husband stayed in. The price have doubled and he was unable to get a flight.  They charged him and his friend 30,000 naira a night; from Tuesday until Saturday. Its clean, guarded, safe, and great food. A good friend is our personal taxi and he is great. But, the price is higher (use to be 15,000). New management.

Take everything amd any documents, prices are higher.

Okay please what is the name

Stay in ben gold apartment at Victoria island....though is 18k per night. You may also Google to help you with different hotels close to the embassy. Good luck.

I checked it out,but there are lots of reviews about mosquitoes, noise and poor hygiene at the hotel..too much bad reviews, i don't think i can stay there..thank you

You apply online for a UK tourist visa.  Google "applying for UK tourist visa."  The requirements are listed there.

Your US spouse can not sponsor you for a UK tourist visa.

    Okay, thank you

You do realize Visa Journey is about immigration/tourist visas to the US, right?

And why on earth would an American be able to sponsor the stay of someone traveling to another country?

Its a simple Yes or No Question ...and i already got my answer,  thank to the other person that replied

You are actually not alone my dear, I got married last year and all my documents got qualified May 22nd this year. . .  Since then, we have not heard from the Consulate in Lagos.  My wife is a U.S citizen. So far my wife she has been calling to know what's up. And I can tell you that you are right on track! 😊😊  Make you no fear abeg, once the Consulate reopens, they'll first start to attend to the backlogs of interview they have.

So, to calm your nerves. I advice all of us take our mind off interview for now,  because even when they commence,  they'll start with those whose appointments were cancelled or pending.

NOTE: The Ban does not affect IR1 or CR1.

(Even the Naija sef don tire me because I wan run! 😂😂  abeg no interpret am for anybody oh..).

Patience and prayers dear, just know that you are right on Track. I'm also CR1.

    Wishing you all the best!

Lolzzzzz its well ohh God go help us..

There is a ban on Nigerians doesn't mean that you won't be issue a cr1 visa.. there is a waiver on that process. Do not lose any hope and don't allow anyone to kill your spirit.. good luck and don't give up !

Read this.. someone that went for his cr1 interview before the convid 19:

On the 5th of March,2020, I got a mail that my passport was at the DHL office in V.I, I panicked because, it was too quick and i started asking my VJ family if all was well..lol. Checked on ceac website and realised it's been issued.

On the 6th of March,2020, I picked up my passport and saw on the passport, that the Presidential proclamation 9983, was waived.

Thank you all, I appreciate. 😘 ( I warned you all, an epistle emerging🤣🤣🤣)

Thanks alot..i needed this ray of Hope🙏🙏🙏
