We received interview notice month ago and we had our interview yesterday (4th of Dec) at our local USCIS field office (Denver, CO). USCIS officer was really nice. He informed us the evidences we provided for bona fide marriage were more than enough. Expected questions regarding to our relationship, how we met, how we decided to move into together...etc. Our I-751 experience was very easy and straight forward, it took less than a year (Jan 2019 filer). Today I received the notice "New Card is being Produced".
Hello lupus
congratulations 🎈 glad u got ur process done , we have same local office!
I’ve filed initially with divorce waiver back in May 2018 , got letter transfer from csc to nbc last Sep 2019 states that an interview can be schedule , Oct 2019 so I’ve stamped my passport here in my local office Denver Colorado ,lady told me my case already reached Denver office , since then I’m waiting to get an interview scheduled! I think filing with divorce waiver is less priority !

I filed joint on August 27, 2018. Got separated on December 14, 2018. After the separation l update my case with a waiver on June 10, 2019. I received a notice for biometric on June 14.
On August 27, 2019 l got a rfe to summit a divorce decree which l did because my divorce was finalized on August 19, 2019. I got my interview on Nevember 21, 2019. I was asked a couple of questions from our joint filing documents, and was also asked questions like how we met, where we first met, where and where we got married, how many people were at the marriage ceremony, and issues that led to our separation. After l answered and told my story the officer told me she has all she need and does not need anything more from me so she is going to request for my approval. I said thank you and left for home. That night l checked my status and seen that it has change to New Card is being Produced. Two days later it changed again to Case is approved and finally in another two days it changed to New Card has been Mailed. All l did was to read comments from this site and not only depend on my lawyer and this helped me right from l130 to l751 and am very grateful to Almighty for a successful process. I thank you guys and l wish all pending cases best of luck. Thanks.
Congratulations 🎈 dolly , I’m glad u got well thru the long stressful process !

I’m not sure. It took my local office 6 months to schedule the interview. I contacted my local congressman twice and the second time definitely made me scheduled. Who knows how long it would have been if I didn’t push for.
Thank y’a vvp for making it easy clarifying

There is a big chance of not being called for the interview! Hopefully for you! I filled out divorce waiver as well and got same letter you did, saying that the interview will be scheduled, then a bit later I've got a status change to new card is being produced, so as I've said before, hopefully you'll get your case approved soon with no interview

Ok, I guess today is my lucky day 🙂 . Had I-751 interview this morning at 7:30am in Baltimore, MD. I came there early around 7:05am. It was me and my lawyer, as I was recently divorced. We waited for around 1 hour to be called. My USCIS offices was a nice lady, she asked us in and asked where is my husband. My lawyer responded that we are a waiver case and my ex husband is not here. Officer was a little confused at first, as it was first time mention about the divorce to them. I gave her my divorce decree and explained that I was divorced 1 month ago and received my final decree only couple of weeks ago, so didn't have time to notify them. Officer was ok with it, she just made a copy and moved on. She put my case on the table and it was huge pile of papers. She asked if I want to add more evidence. I started scrambling all the bags, as I brought a lot of more evidence for recent months. As it was taking me too long to sort of put it all together, I passed all the folders to my lawyer and he was putting it all in one big pile while my interview started. I was asked simple questions from the petition: name, dob, citizenship, criminal history, etc. After that she asked couple of questions about my husband: where he lives now, his dob, his mother's name, daughter's name, etc. She asked how we met and how we broke up and why. It was a long speech for me, the officer stopped me couple of times, just to get further details in dates and places. Nothing too deep. Overall it was a pleasant experience. After that my lawyer put a consolidated pile of new evidence on her desk and she looked at it and said that she doesn't need it, as I already have a lot of evidence. On the way out, she gave a paper where it said: "Your case is being held for review. At this time, USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you. etc. etc. a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete." I felt like interview went well, only took about 15 min. 2 hours later, my case status was updated to "New Card is being produced". Finally!!! almost 25 months later. Exactly 24 months and 22 days. Thank you guys for all your support! If you are still waiting, please have hope and patience.
Congratulations 🎈🎊 Im glad h got well thru that long process !!

Ready to schedule an interview doesn't mean that your case reached the local office. When it reaches the local office you will get the Interview was scheduled. Until then your case is at the National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit Missouri.
Got you
I’ve got infopass to stamp my at Denver CO field ‘s office & the officer told me after she saw transfer letter that my case has came to the local office ! So I said that my case already reached my local office on what the officer told me during time of passport’ stamp

If your case status has changed to " Ready to schedule the interview" then it depends on your local office to decide if they want to schedule the interview or not. I have made the list of all local offices ( from fastest to slowest processing time) to schedule the interview. I have also seen few cases where they waive your interview based on few circumstances.
Bases on the below data Ohio has the fastest processing time in terms on scheduling interview.

Congrats ,
I’ve filed initially my divorce waiver petition with court divorce papers pending , back in Apr 2018 in CSC , later in 4 months I’ve got final divorce decree which I forwarded it to them , got bio done Mar 2019 , since then only waiting game !!!!
please can you share your submitted evidences ?
-
mindthegap, Hello there !
Hope you doing all good , I saw ur nice very well explained’ comments in I751 group & wanted to tell u about my case !
I’ve initially filed with divorcecourt’ papers pending May/ 2018 , around 4 or 5 months later I’ve sent out to uscis in California center my final divorce decree & Bio has been done March/2019 , since then still waiting !!
My concerns are that I’ve included in my package a printed texting that my ex wife have asked me to give her 500 each month along of next ten years in order to file jointly with me our I751 , also she said she won’t divorce me becouse it won’t help her to get good taxes return as single as it helps as being married ! All of these drove me mad & decided to file for divorce by myself ! Anyway our relationship was all the way awesome until financial troubles started as was working two jobs meanwhile she was sitting and enjoying time with her son&daughter whom later also started creating me troubles by insulting my race my country my family etc..., anyway my other concern is that I’ve also included printed PayPal showing I was sending her money lately before divorce as last amount was sent in order to pay rent and file jointly our i751 which ultimately I ended up doing it by myself ! So we didn’t have joint bank account all the time we being married since 2014 , cuz she has bankcrupcey as she used to withdraw money using my card and going with me cashing my checks and taking all the money since I was only following her and don’t say anything ! Yeah I loved her a lot and still love her but I realized I couldn’t ve continue living with her once our relationship turned out to be sick more and more !
Now I’m thinking if uscis will contact her or investigate things out cuz we are not talking now as lately she used to message me that I must leave USA and I’m done here and I scammed her and and ....i wasn’t responding to any of her words , I’m confident about telling truth to immigration in all outcomes , also I think sometimes what uscis will see her as the one who committed fraud ! Anyway as other evidences I’ve included Many photos , tax return , car title & insurance in common names , bills , messages and texts , divorce decree and a letter explains circumstances that lead us to broke down !
By the way I’ve cams to the US first time thru k1 visa , lived with my wife almost a year then left in the middle of adjustment of status ! I was patient enough to cope with life here as I wanted her to live with me in my home country , also I couldn’t tolerate her children in that time ! Later after stay home more than a year we kept contact and we regretted each other as I returned to the US with CR1 visa which was granted since we kept married , from there I live with her almost two years before divorce and the rest of my story filing to remove conditions in order to stand up again if God wants
Thank you in advance for reading -
I really am not sure if can get a certified letter thru phone but may be walk in court house u may get a help with ur situation !
well for me I’ve filed initially Apr 2018 in CSC with divorce court’ paper pending & later in 4 months I’ve got my final divorce decree which I sent it out to USCIS with a copy of my extension receipt letter! Had bio done March 2019 , since then just waiting ! Online status says if they will accept my case will receive a notice if reject it will get latter with instructions !it’s been like 16 months now ! No ref no interview but silent stressing wait game !!
