Three years ago my wife and I also applied for a green card and waited for it to be approved. And since I arrived on a work visa, so far I couldn’t rent normal housing, because there was not enough finance. Then our friends advised us to get out of this situation, namely, we advised to take a short-term loan from these guys https://credit-10.com/fi/yrityslaina/ I liked the low interest rates and reliability of this company, that's why we have been cooperating since then only with them. We got a green card a long time ago, we rented a cozy apartment, found a good job. Everything is fine)
Yes. We just got a mortgage from quicken loans now we are waiting for closing. Finally going to have a house we can call our own! We are supposed to move in next month. Thanks.

Good day! I've been here in the US for a year now through spousal visa. Got my green card and everything, I work right after I got here. Now, me and my husband are looking to buy a house and get a mortgage for it ( we are currently living in an apartment) We tried one lender in my town and got denied because they need me to have a 2 yr work history. I don't know if there's other lender or bank that will consider giving loan for someone like me that just been here for a year? My husband and I is working full time right now and have good credit scores. I dont know if anyone has experience like mine here. Thank you!

Have you guys read about this news? I am in the US now , coming in a CR1 visa. So I will need to apply for a 10 year green card sooner. My husband has a Medicaid, and as of now we are staying in an apartment that is part of the renting or housing program of the government. So scared if it's gonna affect my application.

Yes. It was a conventional type of loan (not so great 😕) but we need a house really soon, so we just go ahead and did it. We just put down 3% downpayment and interest rate is at 3.9 It is not that great again knowing rates are very low right now, but we don't have money for a larger downpayment. If you have saved up more money for downpayment then they will give you better interest rate
