JaHa reacted to Hajar & Otman in Consulate in Casablanca
So the consulate finally called my husband and said he needs to renew DS260 and financial documents they said he is approved just need those documents in the system updated for NVC. For some reason I'm still skeptical and waiting until my husband actually has his visa in his hands because last time the consulate said he was approved we ended up needing administrative processing and still waiting. Also they asked for update medical and all the approved doctors are backed up until November but we found a way to get an appointment tomorrow so alhamdullilah for that anyway if u need help or have questions feel free to ask oh yea and all the people that's still waiting dont give up keep calling keep emailing get your state congress involved.. I pray this helps someone InshaAllah

JaHa reacted to JeanneAdil in New visa approvals for Morocco since Covid
the state department site lists all visas approved by post and class if you ever want to check /September 2020 not out yet and there are several spouse October interviews listed for members in October (5)
June 0 visas for CR1, IR1 or K1
July CR1 -11, IR1 -23, K1 -7
August CR1 -20, IR1-51, and K1 -17
These approvals would have been from people in AP that interviewed before covid shutdown of embassy
you should note the embassy favors spouse visa and approves more than fiancee from these numbers and all stats from the following USCIS site

JaHa got a reaction from queenMorocco12 in medical exam in Morocco
Thank you, very nice of you. If it wasn't to my wife loss, I was planing on going on the "AP" route. I have to wait till she decides what she want us to do. Prayers for this pandemic to go away. Good Luck to us all insha'Allah.

Thanks JeanneAdil and queenMorocco12 for this conversation.
Update about our case: My wife lost her father yesterday.
She was planing to go next week in person to try to get medical appointment. After many phone call for last 10 days, she sent many people to the doctors cause she lives 800km south of Casablanca, and also cause Casablanca is under lock-down{COVID19}. Doctors are taking their precautions by limiting the number of visits. One of them Doctor Nezha FEhri has that irresponsible(last to say selfish) text answer to our request for appointment ":she is close for one year???' could'nt she just let some other doctor take over. The medical appointment are to be around december, her interview is 10/16. I'm weighing our options between Rescheduling or the Administrative Processing 221g.
I will appreciate any inputs.God Bless

JaHa reacted to JeanneAdil in CR1 visa interview after Fiance Visa Denial
You have a lot going for you
You are about the same age
same religion
and your income is well above the needed range
and there are always jobs here for a decent mechanic
I believe it was the K1 that was denied and for Morocco that is very normal ( and casa never gives a reason for denial)
if he said during interview he did not know your kids, it would have been reason enough for them to deny as he is to know everything about u and your family
As for interview, no one can say when Casa will start again, the country just went backwards in the fight with covid virus and closed some cities down because of big increase in cases of the virus.
You satisfied the NOID and spent 6 weeks with him and he met your kids so your case is looking good
Best to you both
allah yekbel

JaHa reacted to AdilB in Are wedding pictures required for CR1 visa interview?
Photos of a wedding are not required, but are good proof/evidence.
But, you should not worry if you two have the following:
1- Closer in age, and mostly if the male is older. 2- Same religion. 3- Same language and culture. Are you both Algerian? 4- Multiple meetings, as in you have visited each other many times. 5- Photos of you two and with families. 6- Petitioner s stable income, and NO sponsors, as this shows responsibility. I feel that Photos are not as important as the actors above. Nowadays, in North Africa, many do delay weddings until after "Visa Approval". Then, they come back with their spouses to honey moon in the states. It is almost a trend now for North African French or Dutch; They wait until "Visa Approval" to have a wedding. Add to that, Some families prefer to push the weddings until after the "Visa Approval" to ensure their daughter is not left behind after marriage, as there are no guarantees of the "Visa Approval". Culturally, many girls remain Virgin until marriage. A girl s Virginity is almost her livelihood. But, that calls for a whole new topic. Bon courage!
