  1. She was already in the US, the medical exam was still good, and she should've been exempt to get the i-693 because she entered the US with a K1. We just did the medical exam again according to the i-693. We just stopped asking "why" and gave them what they asked for. Reading other posts, it seemed like they just lost the original medical paperwork. It happens a lot and doesn't matter if they lost it. The applicant has to provide what they need, even if it costs you more money. It sucks because in all we payed for 4 or 5 medicals because of Covid since applying back in 2019. After that, she was approved for her green card. We got the i-693 in quick even though there was a 60 day extension. Not sure if that's still in effect or not. We did get hit with another issue with a misprint on her green card preventing them from sending or updating our case after that. We just waited the amount of time stated before you can call back in to re-issue the card. Someone called us back a day or 2 later stating there was an error and they re-printed it and sent it again. It's all over for now but we dread dealing with them again after 2 years...
  2. I just want to update that the myuscis states they're actively working on our case November 8th, but says nothing is outstanding. Our NOID is dated November 7th, so that makes even less sense
  3. Hello all, We just received a NOID from USCIS asking for a I 693. We didn't even receive a RFE for the I-693 prior to the NOID. We're so confused, because there's no explanation of why she needs to send in an I-693 other than they must've lost her medical exam packet from overseas. Is this possible? They already lost most of our initial I 485 packet which we had to sent back in after RFE. My wife came here on a K1 visa, which I thought were exempt from the exam here in the US. We started our K1 journey in May 2019 and still dealing with flak all the way up to now. My wife finally got her K1 visa in June 2021. We filed for the AOS on August 30, 2021. Her second medical was done in May 2021, so that should be up to date for sure. Do they require another exam for AOS if she had latent TB, even though she went through treatment. She's calling tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone had some insight on this issue? It just doen't make sense from what I've read online and this forum. Thanks for any help!
