    Thanks for the info Alutza.

    I don't even get this notification 🙁

Is your case just for N-400 or you have a combo interview for both i-751/n-400?

I wonder if it is due to my i-751/n-400 combo situation make it more complicated.

Now both my i-751 and n-400 applications are stuck 🙁

My case was just N-400. The combo might make it more complicated indeed.

I live on the east side. My case is July 28 2018. Based on this thread, my interview will be in Yakima, but I haven't received any notification yet.

Are you guys getting any notification indicating your case was transferred to Yakima before interview was scheduled?

My online status updated to something like "we moved your application to another office, you don't have to do anything at this time" about 2 months before I actually got the interview scheduled in Yakima. That's the only "notification" I got. It didn't specifically say where it was moved until the interview was scheduled, so I was quite confused for a while :)

Congrats!!!  So you were a late July 2018 filer.  I'm also expecting my interview to be in Yakima.  Did you happen to ask the priority date/filing month of the other Seattle filers?

No, sorry, didn't thought of asking. I filled July 26th 2018, I would expect the rest were around that time as well. I have other friends who applied in early 2019 and they didn't get any notice yet.

  4. Had my interview yesterday in Yakima and had an overall great experience.

I started my interview just 5 minutes past appointment time. I got approved on the spot and they offered an option for same day Oath. My interview was at 1PM and their official Oath ceremony was at 2PM (didn't make it), but they organized a second private one for Seattle people at 3:15PM. It was me and 3 other applicants. The director of the office was extremely nice and even apologetic about us being moved to their office, everyone else was polite and accommodating. Very pleasantly impressed.

My online status still shows "we scheduled your ceremony" with an estimated completion time of December 2019, however I expect that will also update eventually.

Good luck everyone, hope you all have the same experience as me!

I attended my interview in Yakima on Friday (Aug 2nd). The interview was straightforward and i got approved. Asked for same day oath and the officer told that there are couple of days in a week where the oath ceremony is scheduled and Friday happened to be one. This might need to be confirmed though. I took the oath the same day and my citizenship journey came to an end. This forum has been very informative. Thanks everyone!

Around what time was the Oath ceremony held? I also have a Friday interview in Yakima and would like to have same day Oath, however my interview is scheduled for 1PM so I suspect I won't finish in time.

Also, do people that were moved from Seattle office know, if I can't make it to same day Oath, would I have to go back to Yakima at a later date, or would the Oath be at the Seattle office?

My case has not been updated since the case transferred email on Jun 7th and I don't have any estimated wait time (says, "taking longer than normal"). Is this normal? I applied end of July 2018 and I am on eastside so probably transferred to Yakima? How can I find out which office my case is at?

I am in the exact same situation, applied July 2018, no estimate, don't know where my case is at (assume Yakima since I'm in Bellevue). I have tried submitting an online inquiry on my case to get more info, but it went unanswered.

I believe there was a person here who applied May 2018 and just had their interview in Portland, so maybe there is still time for us. It looks like Yakima is more backed up though (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/)

  7. I'm in a similar situation to a lot of people here, application moved on June 7th with no other details (applied on July 2018). However, since then, my estimated completion time disappeared completely and the estimated wait time just says "We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time."

I am a little concern as it seems most people got their estimates updated in some form (people that applied months after me have a completion estimate of August\September 2019).

Does anyone have any ideas why completion time might be missing? I tried submitting an inquiry online but their deadline for a response came and went with no reply.
