I need some info, does a K1 visa needed to fill I-130 Also?

or are these documents below are enough?

1. AOS paperwork, including:

- 2 passport photos taken yesterday

- G-1145

- 18 page Form I-485

- Photocopy of biographic passport page

- Photocopy of K1 visa

- Online print-out of I-94 (inc pages which list 'date', 'type', and 'location' of entry/exit)

- Photocopy of birth certificate (front and back)

- Photocopy of I-797 NOA (from I-129F)

- Petitioner's I-864, including 2018 tax returns and photocopy of biographic passport page

- Joint sponsor's I-864, including 2018, 2017 and 2016 tax returns and photocopy of biographic passport page

-Certified marriage certificate

Depending on which country they live in now , Direct Consular Processing may be possible and is faster. 

As a USC , are your children eligible for US citizenship? 

Yes they are eligible for US citizenship. their father is a US citizen.

Dear Visa Journey,

There is a situation where my brother is a US Citizen and he wants to bring his wife + 3 kids from Other country with a Spousal Visa.

I Have several Questions to ask maybe any of you could help me with some info's:

1. What type of VISA is best to bring his wife, is IR1 OR K3? and What type of visa for the kids?

     they have been married for around 9-10 years already. and married abroad (out of US)

2. How long does the process usually take place?

3. The condition brings him to a point where its possible to bring his wife and 1 child first, and bring the other 2 child after.

    My Third Question is: " is it possible for the other two kids to go to US embassy for interview without their mother? or accompanied by their Grandmother?"

    The kids are under 11 years of age.

4. Currently the father only eligible to bring 1 wife and 2 children, can he ask for joint sponsor for family for the other 1 child? or is there any other way to solve this matter?

in my case it took 2 weeks from ready to issued.  and from issued to RPX jakarta 2 business days for us to get the passport+visa.

But again everyone's case is different. I had my interview at the 7th of August 2019 at Jkt embassy also.

Yes, I got a white paper that says congratulations your visa is approved and inside there is instructions of how to get the passport (it can be send back to you through mail or you can pick it up by your self) I choose to pick up at the RPX mail by my self, the interviewer says we can take the passport in 5 - 7 business days after the interview.

The interview was at the 7th of August 2019.

I got Approval paper from the interviewer at the embassy, and he told me that " congratulations your K1 visa got approved".

CONGRATULATIONS YOUR VISA GOT APPROVED BUT..

13 DAYS LATER...

I STILL DONT RECEIVED MY PASSPORT...

I would like to ask about the status of VISA in CEAC. I was interviewed at the 7th of August 2019 and got approved.

at the 14th of August 2019 the status is still ready for interview while I already passed the interview.

today is the 16th and haven't got any updates of when can I get the passport.

Does anyone in indonesia have ever experiencing this, and what to do best? Needed some enlightment.

She'd like to solicit feedback from the VJ community. My own 2 cents was "Just gotta wait" and I suspect that's what the general consensus is here, but can't hurt to double check. 

 

So here is the situation:

 

1. Petitioner is US male, beneficiary is Indonesian female. Age gap is under 10 years. Neither one is Muslim (just to make it clear it is not a Muslim marrying a Non-muslim situation). 

2. They met in person 2-3 times (I don't know the specific #). They met around a year prior to the I-129f submission, and at least once before the interview. 

3. Prior to the I-129f application, she tried for a B1/B2 visa, got denied due to not having sufficient ties to Indonesia. 

4. Her fiance reached out to his state's Senator to see if they could do anything about the B1/B2 tourist visa. Surprise surprise, no luck. 

5. K1 interview at the Jakarta Embassy was 3 months ago, in mid-April.

6. At the interview, she showed pictures of their engagement party (yes, I know, bad move). 

6. They kept her passport following the interview. 

7. A few days later, they contacted her and said if she needed her passport to travel somewhere, she should let them know. (bad sign IMO)

8. Since then, she's e-mailed them once or twice, and their reply was "we'll let you know when a decision has been made."

 

So she's been in AP since then, and is naturally a bit frustrated. Her fiance wants her to be more assertive with the Embassy, but she thinks that would be counterproductive. As I said, due to what I've read here on VJ, I think all she can do is wait, but as I said, I'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone had any other advice. Thanks!

i would like to know if there’s any possibility for us to expedite an interview schedule if the case is about pregnancy that is above 20 weeks? So then it’ll be safer and more comfortable to fly, has anyone ever requested to change to an earlier schedule in indonesia for K1 visa? Needed some info’s
