I wouldn't worry too much, out of all the forms, i-131 is probably the least relevant one. And, there is pretty good chance in your case Green Card will get approved before either EAD/AP, which would make the whole issue moot, since once GC is approved, the other 2 become not relevant. Which category you selected on I-131? 1.d I believe is the right choice.
Yes, I selected 1.d. Thanks for your support!

Did you send all 4 forms together in the same package, or did you separate them? It is strange that they would return I-131 to you of all things. Was I-765 accepted? Did you use (c)(9) category for I-765?
Yes, I sent all 4 forms together in the same package. And form I-765 was accepted. And yes, I used (c)(9) category for I-765.
This is very strange . I am very worried.

I sent my form I-485 with forms I-131 Application for Travel Document and I-765 Application for Employment Authorization. I payment $1,225.00 for I-485 and bio-metrics, because on USCIS site it says:
"You do not need to pay an additional fee for Form I-131 if:
- You are filing Form I-131 Application Type B or D;
- You filed a Form I-485 with a fee on/after July 30, 2007; and
- Your Form I-485 is still pending."
But today I received in the mail form I-797C for my I-131:
"This is in reference to the I-131, you submitted. Your i-131, fees, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reason:
The payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. Please review the Form Instructions for fee information. Please resubmit the application/petition package with the appropriate fees..."What did I do wrong and what shall I do next?
Thank so much!

Welcome to the forum.
Before you send in your AOS packet, you may want to acquaint yourself with the VJ K1/K3 AOS guide, and a couple of other useful VJ and USCIS guides. So that you are sure to include the correct forms and information and not include applications like to I-130 mentioned in your question, and hopefully reduce the chance of any problems from USCIS.

Finally, your timeline is vacant. It helps everyone that uses or gets information from the site.
Good luck on your immigration journey.
Thanks very much!

I need help with this issue. I’m on K-1 visa, we got married and I-94 form ended shortly after. We are in the process of preparing documents for a Green Card, work permit and Advance Parole Document.
Do we need to submit an I-130 form with an I-485 form and a package of documents and pay an additional $ 535 for it?
Thank all so much!

I need help with this issue. I’m on K-1 visa, we got married and I-94 form ended shortly after. We are in the process of preparing documents for a Green Card, work permit and Advance Parole Document. In the meantime we decided to get SSN.
When I visited the SSN office, the clerk took my SSN form, but told me that since I have expired I-94, they need either a new I-94 form or an A-Number. It looks like I was assigned an A-number when I got K1 approval, but it’s only a stamp on my original I-129F form. The clerk mentioned that they need only the original documents and sent me to the nearest USCIS office to get a proof that I am in good immigration status.
Has someone faced a similar situation, what exactly can I request from USCIS?

Yesterday we phoned USCIS and found out that the reason for not accepting our I-131 form was because I didn’t sign it there.
I signed in the graph "Signature of Preparer". And I had to sign in the graph "Signature of Applicant".
How can I reapply I-131 now? Sign up on the old form in the graph "Signature of Applicant" and send again with my I-797 to accept the I-485 form? Or re-fill the I-131 form?
Thank you so much!
