Wonderful news, Kit's faith!
Alan got his notice from the Dublin embassy today in regards to the interview. It's no longer 'tentative' it's ALL real. He's scheduled for next Friday, December 7.
oh happy day!
Ever hopeful,
Annette
I am ooooh soooo happy for you and Alan, Annette!!! I'm sure he will do well at the interview and you'll both be reunited soon.
Looks like the 7th will be a GREAT day for both you and I.
Lots of luck and best wishes!
~Erin
Thanks so much, Erin. I am mildly freaking out here
as interview time approaches...Alan and I went over everything this weekend and we're pretty sure we have all the paper work, evidence, etc. needed but it's just feels like we missed something even though I can't think of what it might be. This process has been so long and I just feel exhausted, I can only hope that we will have everything they could possibly want evidence wise and he will get through the interview OK (he's mildly freaking out too, sorry honey, [if you are reading this] but you are.
) and we will have a visa in hand on Friday...wish us luck!
Ever Hopeful,
Annette

Hi all,
Samir had his medical today. He seemed to think that he did fine; however, I don't think that he understood how extensive it was going to be. He didn't mention how long the whole procedure took, but was quite suprised by how extensive it actually was (mentally and physically). Now we must wait for the results and then he can make an appointment for his interview.
Good luck to everyone!
~Erin
Yeah, it is pretty extensive. They pay very close attention to the chest x-ray it seems. Alan had some small scarring due to a childhood illness like brochitis or something and it showed up on the x-ray. The doctor talked to him about it and had him tick a box on a form that talked about it.
Everythign went well though. Hope things go well fro your fiance too, Erin. Keep us posted.

AOS FILERS - March 2008
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Had our interview today. The guy asked quite a lot of questions, but thankfully we were prepared. And YES the guy did notice we were prepared, he seemed very happy about that. We had everything sorted into a notebook so when he asked to see something, not only did we have the original but a copy as well. He asked to see evidence that we lived together, that seemed to be a VERY important thing, so make sure you bring copies of utility bills with both your names on it, etc. We were given approval pending review by his supervisor. The guy said we would either get a greencard in the next couple of months or a letter asking for more information. Overall the interview was very efficient and the interviewer was nice (not too friendly but not a sour puss either) We are hopeful...Will keep you posted
Good luck to all those with upcoming interviews! If you have any questions, PM me.
