  1. Hello, I heard the same thing from the lady that help me with my application (Notary Public) I called the USCIS office and they did not have an answer for me. If anyone know for wich countries they are doing this please let me know? mine is Dominican Republic. Also the lady told me that this is the reason why USCIS is taking so long and that is the reason they haven't move for the I130 for the last 8 month and still on 03/12/06. She said that it was only for the I130 and not for the I129f.

    Thanksssss

  2. Hello, soliel I filed my I130 for my husband on 06/26/06 to vermont and jus had receive NOA1 it been 91/2 month and nothing yet.

He live in the Dominican Republic everything is so slow, now on 06/26/07 I sent my I129F to see if is faster and I got my NOA on 04/04/07 with an MSC#. Can you please keep letting me know inf about your case since we both file for the same office and is from D.R. like that I can have an idea on how long this is going to take, our I129F was sent in 03/2006 too. You know the only thing that I'm very afraid now is when it gets to D.R. you know how slow they are and I think it could be sitting there for a long time before getting an interview, but let support each other and think positive.

Good luck to you toooo

I also met my husband on 08/13/2005.

  4. Well...had my interview today - I had got to London night before and had a quick walk to the embassy - just for peace of mind.....i had a 10.30am appointment - i got there about 9.45 - there were queues already formed for other times slots - went through a security - then walked to the main entrance where a pleasant young man issued me with a ticket number (15) - then went and sat down and started to watch the numbers on the big boards - wasn't waiting unduly long time before i was called to booth number 13!....The lady there was very formal but once we got underway she seemed to be more friendly and remarked that she was pleased to see how well organised i appeared to be as it makes it easier to process cases when the paperwork is in order. I think if they see how well prepared you are it seem it can only have a positive effect -had the finger prints done - paid the fee - then went to sit down to wait for the next step- after a short wait i was called to booth 16 - was asked to give finger prints again - asked to hold my right hand up and swear that i was telling the truth - she asked how i met my fiancee - when we met in person for first time - how many times had i been to the usa - and how do we communicate - then she advised she was happy to approve the application - i said thank you and she said your welcome - then off to the SMS desk....I also got the xrays given back to me and told i can put them in my case

All in all - a very straight forward day and i was glad i had invested the time to organise my paperwork

Good Luck to all you guys waiting -

    :D :D

  5. Hello on 06/26/06 I sent the I130 to Vermont and I just had received NOA1 on 06/30/06 my husband live in the Dominican Republic, I don't know why is taking so long I called USCIS almost everyday and nothing yet, everytime that I calle they just tell me to wait 3 month, they are working on 03/12/06 and in 9 month they had move only one month. On 03/26/07 I sent the 129F to see if this will be more faster and I received the NOA1 04/04/07.

Why is taking so long, and there is another problem I know that when is approve and it goes to the embassy in Dominican Republic is going to be sitting there for a long time because over there they are the worst.

  6. well since i live here in New York, pretty much there are many many phone cards that give you about 1 hr caling time to the dominican republic, and they are only 2 dollars, Now i have over 100 of these aved, and since i was reading the guides i saw that it stated that it wil be good to show calling receipts or etc, but i used these ards because they are affordable and convenient, should i do something, send them, copy it send or what.... thanks

Hello, the best thing to do is use a long distance phone company because the calling card are to exoensive and they take all your minute, I used to buy them but now I have this plan that I pay $100 a month and is unlimited long distance and local call, the name of the plan is zona franca, it is the best and shipper because calling card are to expensive, call them 1888 725 4321 supra telecom...
