  1. hello all

i am in the same boat..............got approved on august 13.........got hard copy on 16..............called on monday to nvc .........no positive response from their side..............

i dont understand this process of uscis.....................everthing we are the one who suffers..................damnnnnnnnnnnnn

Did anyone call NVC today to find out if their case has reached there? I tried calling so many times but could not get thru - it kept diverting me back to the automated response system.

  2. I got a touch today! Hopefully I'm in queue (sp?) to get approved soon. I made a bet with my wife on the 14th of this month....I bet that we would get the NOA2 between the 14th and 22nd and she took between the 23rd and 31st. If I win, she has to study an extra hour of English every day for the rest of the month. If she wins, she gets to take a break from the English studies. Wish me luck!!!

I think your NOA2 is overdue... you should be getting it this week. Good luck

  3. I called today morning... they have not received it. I guess it is too early for my petition to get forwarded to NVC. There are so many of us before me waiting for theor petitions to get forwarded to NVC.

This is complete madness... you wait for your petition approval and once that wait is over, now you wait for it to get transferred to NVC... and when that wait is over you again wait for your petition to get to the embassy/consulate.

  4. Thank you.

We were lucky with our timeline. We completed our K-3 route is just 6 months.

I wonder what happened to consolemaster now. Any idea?

    Me too wondering about him.....

Congratulation to you for your spous's successful interview ...

My wife finally was scheduled to be interviewed on September 17, 2007. I requested for an early date by email. An email response is received from the consulate saying the earliest date they can take my wife's interview is Aug 27, I had replied right away and agreed with that date. 7 days gone since I wrote them back, yet I didn't received any reply with confirmation.

Congratulations island_princess.. that is great news!!!

  5. in a week or two.... this message thread will be closed.... i think CSC will process most of the cases. if you haven't been approved...your approval is on the way. they can't keep you there any longer.

    Thanks for your wishes guys...

do have a question - should I be worried that my online status still says pending? Should I be calling USCIS to ask as to why my online status still says pending?

  6. OH MY GOODNESS. Well its has been 17 days since my approval but no news of my petitions at the NVC. Well I called USCIS and spoke to someone at the CSC center and she said that I need to wait till January 31st 2007 and then give them a call if the petitions aren't transfered by then.

Seriously these immigration representatives are morons or they think we are morons and will believe everything they say. When will USCIS free me from their trap? ahhhhhhh

What??? That is completely ridiculous!!!! These people have no sense of compassion... I don't think these people understand how difficult it is to stay away from your loved one

  7. No touches or anything today

I would have to agree with neel... it would have been better if all of us had gone the K3 route. I know someone who made a K1 petition a week before I did my I-130 and his wife had her interview mid-july, approved and is in the US already. Good to know that family petitions is last in the priority list for our government - H1Bs, illegal immigrants, K1s all get priority over us US citizens.
