I am in the same situation mine has been stuck since November 6th. I have emailed the Nigeria embassy and they just tell me it’s processing.... it’s quite annoying. I would rather have some sort of update... but to see your case on the same status for almost 30 days is quite disappointing...... I keep emailing them just hoping for some movement... I am thinking about getting my congressman involved...

mine is 4th still waiting, Ceac status still read 'READY'  for interview.Ghana embassy

I wrote to them today, I'm yet to get a reply.after writing to them this morning, a few hours later I saw my case updated again.

I imagine with the holidays, staffing is low and there aren't enough available for interviews.  You could try their email support-ghana@ustraveldocs.com, and see if maybe they can offer to help get you scheduled, or it might convince them to go in and update the appointments calendar.  Wouldn't hurt to try.  Put your case number in the subject.

I sent them an email last two weeks and this is what they told me, I even called today too..the same story

How long did it take for your case to get ready and if you dont mind letting me know how long it took for you to get the from when NVC received the case till when they sent it to ghana please.

Had NOA2 on 21st of November, NVC assigned my case number on 26 and they sent me an email same day of the case being sent to Ghana. Today I checked on ceac and reads "Ready'

AbieBio you are welcome to Visa Journey, well as far as you have gotten the case number from the NVC, just use that case number to check your status.

When you check and it says ready, you can go ahead and pay the money at GTBank and fill the DS160 online and thereafter schedule your interview. you can track the status by following this link https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx#

When it says ready, just go ahead and continue with the other process

Please do you feel the ds160 first before you go and pay the visa fee or u can do it either way?

    Thank you

Here are the instructions for the PDF.

How do I update my email address with NVC: Once you receive your NOA2 approval then

    contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-
resources/ask-nvc.html to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email

address. This will give you an email alert when your file arrives at NVC, your case is assigned and when the file leaves for your Embassy. Enter the petitioner's information as well as the beneficiary's in the "empty box". Full name, Date of Birth, (use DD/MONTH/YYYY, i.e., 08/April/2019 for the DOB field) NOA2 receipt number and WAC number. We have found in some cases that emails are never sent and in other cases this works well. So, your mileage may vary.

    Thank you

Everyone once you arrive here in the thread make sure you fire off an email to NVC to update your email address and that of your beneficiary. Follow the instructions in the first post of this thread. It worked for me and NVC sent me an email once my case was approved and also once they assigned my case number. It only takes a few minutes and you only have to gain. Be sure to provide the information NVC request each time you email them. Put your USCIS receipt number in the subject line.
