  1. We finally had our interview last July 29. IO told us that we were getting approved! 15 mins after, our case status updated to New Card is Being Produced. So happy to be done! All that's left to do now is wait for the GC to arrive in the mail. Weirdly, both our field office and the NBC sent us interview notices. They arrived on the same day, each with a different interview date. Philly field office, dated 7/7/2020, said our interview would be on July 29. NBC, dated 7/8/2020, said our interview would be on August 13. I talked to a Tier 2 officer, who then filed a service request with the Philly field office. They got back to me 2 days later and told me that the field office notice controls. So now we're done! Good luck to everyone else, and I hope people start hearing back about rescheduled interview dates!
  2. Actually, in my case, both the field office and NBC mailed me interview notices. Filed office sent me an interview notice, dated 7-7-2020, for a 7-29-2020 interview. NBC sent me an interview notice, dated 7-8-2020, for a 8-13-2020 interview. I received them both on the same day. I called USCIS and talked to a Tier 2 officer, and she filed a service request with the Philly field office to clarify what the actual date was. Service request response came back two days later saying the field office notice controls, meaning our interview was 7-29.
  3. We didn't get an update in our case either. The notice just arrived 4 days after the notice date.
  4. We got interviewed today. Really great experience. Our IO was very friendly and assured us several times that this wasn't an antagonistic process and interview. We first went over the information on the I-485. The IO then asked for any additional joint documents we wanted to add to our file. Finally, he asked us about our timeline, from how and when we met to when we got married to what we're doing now. He told us we were approved before he walked us back out. The whole thing was done in about 20-25 minutes. 15 minutes after we left, I got a text and email notifying us that the case status had been updated to new card is being produced Fwiw, our IO says we were his third interview today, and that today was his first day back since the shutdown in March. Hope everyone else start hearing back!
  5. Originally scheduled for April 15 in Philadelphia, PA. Weirdly, I received two interview notices on the same day, each with a different interview date: one from my local field office and the other from the NBS. My lawyer said that the notice from our field office takes precedence, so we get to keep the July 29 date. Date on NBS notice was Aug. 13.
  6. Just got the interview notice. Our interview will be on July 29
  7. Just got the interview notice. Our interview will be on July 29
  8. My case just updated an hour ago to say an interview has been scheduled. Will update again with exact date and time after I get my notice in the mail.
  9. My case just updated an hour ago to say an interview has been scheduled. Will update again with exact date and time after I get my notice in the mail. We live in Philadelphia, PA.
  10. Nothing on our end, too. My mom hasn't even been able to have her biometrics captured. No updates on her case, still just says "Case Was Received." Good luck to us!
  11. Hi. Yep, we ended up submitting her application a day or two after I posted my last message. No movement since they confirmed receipt either. Someone on the immigration subreddit says they called USCIS to ask about how long these cases are taking to process now in the midst of the pandemic, and it's apparently still 4-6 months, so 🤷
  12. I am in the exact same position, and would love to hear about your experience as it progresses. We are going to submit my mom's application as soon as we get her bank certificate from back home.
  13. EAD and AP were just approved today. My interview was cancelled on March 31st, and was again ready to schedule by April 1st. Not in any hurry now that we're gonna have my EAD soon. Good luck to everyone else!
  14. So happy to find this thread! We're also in Philly. Seems timelines are specific to your field office, so I'm really glad I get to see other people's timelines in the area. Filed in mid-July 2019, and just today received our interview notice. Interview is on April 15, 2020. Of course we're now worried about the appointment getting postponed because in lighy of how the coronavirus situation is developing, but we're trying to stay hopeful. Still no progress on my EAD since fingerprinting in early August 2019. Anyone else in the same boat? Saw some people already got theirs -- congrats, guys!
