@Brettane, si Zac din ganyan, mahira ng palitan kasi tumataob cya. Ang teknik na ginagawa ko is kapag pinapalitan ko cya binibigyan ko cya ng any toy para may paglaruan cya at kalikutin habang nakahiga at para din mapalitan ko yung dirty diaper nya. Epektib naman yun kay Zac. Try nyo baka umepekto din sa baby ninyo hehe.

Sa burping, lagi kong pinapaburp si Zac dati or else maglulungad cya. Yung tipong parang susuka ng gatas pero di naman nagsusuka. Nung 7 months old cya eh kusa na cyang nagbuburp mag-isa kaya mejo nabawasan na ang trabaho ko hehehe.

@RR, oo ganun nga si Zac. One time, nung nanonood ako ng Miss Universe, sigaw ako ng sigaw sa tuwa at nagtatatalon ako nung nakapasok si Ms. Philippines sa Top 10 tas umiyak si Zac lol! Nagtaka ako kung ba't cya umiyak tas nung nakapasok cya sa top 5, sigaw na naman ako tapos umiyak uli cya lol! Nung natapos na yung show eh dun ko lang narealize na kaya pala cya umiiyak eh natatakot sa sigaw ko lol!

@Eve, si Zac din hindi ko tinatakot sa boogieman kasi ayoko din ng may kinakatakutan cya (as much as possible).

@Someday, nakakatawa nmn ang baby mo kasi di maintindihan ang reaksyon sa vacuum hehe.

Ang problema ko ngayon kay Zac is yung "panganggat". Kinakagat yung balikat ko or yung binti ko. Minsan, kinagat nya ako tas nagkunwakunwarian akong iyak tapos umiyak din cya LOL! tapos niyakap nya ako tas tumitingin sa akin na parang nagsosorry at chinicheck kung ok lang ako Kinabukasan, kinagat pa rin ako May lahi yata talaga tong si Zac na aso hehehe.

@Brettane, si Zac darecho na front facing yung carseat nya from infant car seat. Wala naman cyang reklamo dun actually masgusto nya pa yung front facing kasi masmadami cyang nakikita. Wala naman sa aming sinabi yung pedia ni Zac about sa front facing na car seat nya. Kasi di ba may mga weight din for babies na nakalagay dun sa mga car seat kung pwede na ang baby. I "think" wala talaga sa age yan. Kasi iba iba ang babies. May mga babies na malaki sa age nila, may ma babies na maliit sa age nila at may mga babies na sakto lang. Si Zac kasi mejo malaki sa age nya hehe kaya darecho front facing na binili namin. Sa akin lang eh kung sa tingin mo na kaya na ng baby nyo at komportable naman cya sa car seat nya kesyo front or rear eh ok na yun.

Si Zac nung mga bandang 6 or 7 months old eh minsan nagpoo ng sobrang dami (pasintabi po hehe) tas ang ginawa ko darecho cya sa bath tub at dun ko cya sinabon at hinugasan ng water. Takot cya ng sobra at todo kapit sa akin. Nahirapan din ako nun kasi madulas at kahit cya eh takot. Nung nagpunta kami sa FL at pinaliguan ko cya sa tub ng hotel eh takot cya nung una kasi wala yung "tub mat" ba tawag dun? yung nilalagay sa bath tub pra hindi ka madulas. Sa tingin ko eh naninibago lang si Letcher sa environment nya at baka masanay din cya na pansamantalang wala yung tub nya.

@RR, si Zac hindi takot sa dilim. Nasanay na kasi cya sa room nya na dim lang yung light. Yung lamp shade lang ang naka-on. Minsan nga magcrawl pa yan papunta sa hallway kahit off yung lights. Ang takot cya ay sa loud noise like nung hand dryer sa mga restrooms, thunder saka pagnag-sneeze yung lolo nya LOL! Ayaw din nya ng nagsisigawan, umiiyak cya. Yung sis-in-law saka yung ex nya eh nag-away minsan dito sa house nmin tas si Zac todo iyak. Ayun, pinalabas namin cla.

@Evelyn, kakatuwa naman si Jacob. Si Zac naman eh nag-make face cya nung first time nyang narining yung printer namin lol!

@RR, Hay naku, naiinis ako sa asawa ko kapag sinasabihan din ako ng ganyan na na-spoiled ko daw si Zac kaya umiiyak pagwala sa tabi ko. Feeling ko hindi naman spoiled yun eh, separation anxiety lang. Kasi syempre "normally" masclose ang mga babies sa mother nila dahil ang nanay ang laging nag-aalaga at laging na sa tabi.

Si Zac naman hindi iiyak for few minutes as long as napapaligiran cya ng mga toys OR as long as hindi cya nag-iisa. Kapag wala ako, hindi cya iiyak as long as he is with his dad, grandpa or cousins. Ang ayoko lang is kapag nagluluto ako sa kusina at gusto nyang na sa tabi ko kasi very dangerous yun. So ang ginagawa ko na lang is nilalagay ko cya sa highchair nya para nakikita nya pa rin ako pero and at least hindi cya nakaharang sa dinadaan ko at mejo malayo sa stove.

Kapag naman na sa labas ok lang sa kanya kahit sino sa amin ang magtulak ng stroller nya pero ang pinakaayaw ni Zac is yung kapag papalitan ko yung dirty diaper nya sa public restrooms. Kpag nilalagay ko cya sa changing table eh mahahalata mo na hindi cya komportable tapos iiyak cya kapag malayo lang ako sa kanya ng kahit konting distansya. Itatapon ko lang nmn yung dirty diaper sa trash can eh lol!

Hay ang mga babies talaga nakakatuwa na mahirap alagaan lol!

@RR, Zac cries too whenever I leave him for few minutes. I can leave him in his crib surrounded by his toys for 15-20 mins without crying but then will cry when he gets bored. Sometimes I put him in his walker so he could follow me around the house, that way, it would be much easier for me to wash the dishes without hearing him crying. He won't cry if I sneak out the house as long as he will be with one of my family member. What so funny is, he cries whenever he sees somebody leaving the house, specially if his cousins will go back home na. Kasi he won't have any playmates again. He also cries whenever our visitors will leave LOL! Minsan nga iiyak din cya kapag pupunta ka ng CR tas you will close the CR door infront of him lol! Kala nya kung saan ka na pupunta eh mag-he-hello ka lang naman sa indoro LOL.

Ako din natakot tlaga ng sobra nung nakita kong wala na yung candy ng lollipop. Di naman cya nachoke, acually nakangiti pa sa akin nung nahuli ko cya lol! Sinabi ko sa asawa ko nangyari, kala ko magagalit, ay naku! natawa pa! Bata daw kasi mahilig sa candy. Pero of course sinabihan lang ako na ingat daw mabuti next time.

Nakakatakot naman yon Pink. Naalala ko tuloy si AJ nong 6 months pa sya nung una ko syang binigyan ng cookies na choke sya nong pumunta ako sa bathroom buti nalang nandyan apo ng asawa ko sya nagsabi sakin na choke si AJ tuloy di ko alam gagawin buti nalang nalabas ang cookies na binigay ko sa anak ko kc dinudukot ng anak ko din sa kanyang bibig ang cookies habang wala ako kaya hayun suka sya ng suka nun. Nanginginig ako nun sa subrang takot.

You may want to learn the Heimlich (sounds like hime-lick) Maneuver...it's good to know so save anyone from choking...there's a specific method to apply that on infants.

Waaaahhh!! Iniwan ko si Zac sa crib nya while nandun lang naman din ako sa room nya pero naglalaptop ako. Napansin ko tahimik cya so chineck ko cya at nakita kong may hawak cyang stick ng lollipop. Hinanhanap ko yung pinakacandy ng lollipop tas ang nakita ko na lang is yung wrapper at yung stick ng lollipop na hawak nya. Tas check mo yung bibig nya baka nachoke, thank God hindi naman tas yung hininga nya amoy candy so I am thinking nakain nya yung lollipop. Chineck ko talagang mabuti yung crib pero wala kahit isang piraso o yung durog ng candy. Hindi ko tuloy alam kung paano nya nakain. Malamang nadurog ng ipin nya?? Kasi yung crib nya malapit dun sa diaper organizer na may mga candies din. Naabot na nya yung mga candies dati naman kasi hindi pa eh. Ok naman cya. Naglalaro now with his cousin. Waaaahhh!! Nakakakaba, paano na lang kung nachoke cya

Do you get the mixed foods na? Si maizy, so far she has not refused anything...masibang kumain She still does not favor peaches but all other foods she takes. I have begun to mix cereal with her baby food veggies at lunchtime to add texture to it as well as fiber and I do the same to her fruit at supper time. Her regimen now is: Breakfast 5 scoops (like the one you use for formula)cereal mixed with 2 oz formula plus 4 oz bottle of fruit (usually combination fruit), Lunch 4 oz veggies (usually combination) with 1-2 scoops cereal in it plus a bottle of meats plus a small bottle of gerber juice, Supper baby food dinner combo plus cereal in her fruit plus juice. She has 2 8-oz bottles of formula during the day then 1 8 oz night time formula at bedtime. The occasional snack, too (gerber's li'l crunchies, which she absolutely loves). I recently found out though as to how much I spend on baby food so all I ever get now are the fruits. Bought some frozen veggies as well as fresh ones and I will be making her food instead. She also has had reactions to the baby food chicken, so I boiled 2 chicken thighs and ran them through a blender with the broth....and voila! no reaction at all and she loved it!

I already thought about of mixing cereal to his baby food kaya lang I'm thinking na baka ma-over na si Zac sa cereal kasi I mix 7 teaspoons of cereal on his 10 oz milk bottle. If I don't do that eh malamang isang luglugan lang yung 10 oz milk nya Malakas uminom ng milk si Zac, he normally drinks 40 oz of milk a day. Last summer since mainit, he drank 50 oz a day. He is not into juices, I tried pero mga 2 oz a day lang naiinom nya and he will still drink 40 oz of milk.

He spits the baby food in his mouth na which is a sign na he is ready na to eat table food, that was according to what I read. and aside from that, he is in the right age na naman to eat table food. Right now, he enjoy eating baby cookies. I give him cookies in between meals. I'll try fresh fruits and vegetables na rin and also, I have to learn how to cook "lugaw" and "champorado" I am thinking he might like those foods. He loves mashed potatoes and mashed squash. My neighbor cooked pinakbet one time then I mashed the "kalabasa" and gave it to him and he oohh so loved it

another thing is saan po ba kayo nag-register? babies r us? target? burlington? saan kaya may magandang products pero di mamahalin at hindi made in china

In my case, it was my sisters-in-law who threw my baby shower. I have 4 sisters-in-law, yung dalawa dun is kapitbahay namin, yung isa 8 blocks lang layo and yung isa is 10 mins away lang ang house by car from our house, so in short, madali nilang naplan yung baby shower.

In terms of the regisrty, hindi na ako nagparegister in any stores kasi nahiya ako Believe it or not, meron ako nun kahit unti Tinanong lang nila ako kung ano pa ang mga kailangan ng baby, nung una nahihiya akong sabihin pero kinausap nila ako na dapat sabihin ko kailangan pra hindi magkadoble doble ang gift at pra maibigay kung ano talaga ang kailangan ng baby. So, sinabi ko na lang sa kanila tas bahala na sila kung saan sila baby. Ayoko naman kasi magsabi kung saan ko sila gusto bumili or kung anong brand ang gusto ko.

About naman sa matress, yung matress ni Zac ganun malalim na simula't sapul na inassemble namin yung crib. Ang kinakatakot ko na lang ngayon eh yung time na magsimula ng umakyat palabas ng crib si Zac. Marunong na kasi siyang tumayo sa sarili nya.

Nagstart na ring ayawan ni Zac yung baby foods nya, eh ano naman kaya ngayon gagawin namin sa 3 months supply ng baby foods nya from WIC?

We used to use MagicJack but once Anna was here the need for a running computer at that end was a killer as her Mom is elderly and not interested in computers.

We found Nettalk early enough to have 2 of their units with the unlimited lifetime subscription (paid $100 upfront and will have service for the life of the company). now it's about $100 a year but the quality is better than MagicJack and it is a stand alone unit (like Vonage) so no PC required that that end. We're pleased with it .

We are using Vonage for more than 1 year now and so far, we like their service. I never heard of Nettalk, I'll go search for it and yeah, thanks for sharing about it

Our next step is Naturalization. From the day we receive his GC we can start counting down to when we can file for Naturalization. It's 3-5 years before you can file. The 3 years is if they've lived in the US consecutively with their spouse for that time.
