hey guys ive been reading here and i decided to do my 129f, i just recieved my NOA2. My fiancee is from mexico where i was raised part of my life, my question is
1. Is the medical and interview the same day or a few days apart?
2. how many days do i have to stay over there, because i can plan for work and days off?
3. The interview is in juarez right?
4. the thing im mostly confussed on is what exacly is the process? is it we get a date for interview, we do medical and a day later she can come home with me? or does she have to go back home?
Sorry guys im just a little nervious, and the funny part ive read almost every post in this fourm at least the K1 part. thanks again
1. The medical is done early the first day and the interview is the second day.
2. Medical 1 day, interview one day, and possibly another day depending upon when they actually give her the visa. Minimum of three days I'd say. That's not including travel times both ways though.
3. Yes, interview is in Juarez.
4. You don't need a date for K-1. Just show up. See #2. She will get the visa the same day or the next. At that time, she can cross...stopping at the POE of course.
Mexico's system is a little different that the other interview processes so it's best (as far as consulate issues and questions go) to get your info from the Juarez veterans and Juarez Consulate website. Good luck!!!!!

Is a Sentri Pass the same as a Tourist Visa? I guess it would depend upon why it was taken away. Did they give her a reason? Unless she has had illegal entries, I wouldn't think it would affect it. Did she mention to them that she had a K-1 visa pending? If so, they would probably take her tourist visa.

I lived in a border town and took papers to a local currency exchange that did the translation for me. I'm sure you can find a Spanish speaking notary in Tucson. They'll translate and notarize it for you. It only cost me about $12 and that was including the notarization.

Approved!!! finally we can move forward into the next chapter of our life.
The interview was pretty chill, though they did grill him a lot about his tattoos, both in the medical and at the consulate. They took pictures of all of them and asked him about their significance, and asked him a lot about whether he's done drugs. They used different angles to ask the same things. He just said no to everything.
Congrats!!!! I'm glad everything went so smoothly.

Straight Talk from Walmart runs off the Verizon towers. There are two plans. The $30 plan gives you 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30 mb data. The $45 plan gives you unlimited everything. This is cdma (not gsm).
